Navy QB Keenan Reynolds drafted by the Ravens, most likely as a receiver/kick returner, while Navy FB Chris Swain signs with the Chargers.

Good for him, seems like a quality person. Does he get a deferment for service?

No. If either player makes the roster they will have to apply for special dispensation. This would be similar to Joe Cardona from the New England Patriots who is a Nay graduate.

Was glad to see them get drafted and a good PR move for the navy to grant their requests. M

Joe Cardona has some long days. His duty station is at NAPS which forces him to drive a little there and back. Swain may have the easiest logistics being in San Diego but we'll have to wait and see. I'm not really sure what they'll do with Reynolds in Baltimore. I don't remember if he was Marine's or not....I don't think so. There's some opportunity in Washington but I'm not sure what his qualifications are. They'll have to "find" a fit for him.

Either way, these guys have very, very long days trying to make this work. It's no cake walk that's for sure.

Definitely appears to be a ho hum draft at best for the Steelers. High hopes on development but we'll see.

Over the years I have really liked some picks who ended up useless and I've despised some picks that really shined.

Hope 2 of the picks become highly usable parts at the very least....preferably starters in the near future but we'll have to wait.

Not surprised 2 made the list though

Yeah, and I can see it. Not once during the last 2 seasons did I think Eli Apple was a top 10 pick. Ouside of when Roby played Wisconsin I thought he was a better corner than Apple. The Vannett pick I can sort of see too since he didn't have much production but I think that's more on the scheme than on him. I think he has potential to be pretty good. I don't agree with their Decker comments tho, he's a stud. Think he'll end up being the best tackle of the bunch.

Overall their FO is one of the best in regards to drafting and talent evaluation, so I'll wait to see how they pan out.

But their choices for secondary players has been garbage and the Burns pick definitely was a head scratcher.

I actually wanted Apple. I thought he was meh at OSU, but he has nice size for a corner and did well at the combine. 10 was too high, but I don't know much about the guys they thought should go before him.

I'm a huge Darron Lee fan so I hope he kicks ass, even though he's a Jet.

I hope he ends up scratching his head wondering how Coleman just torched him for an 80 yd TD every snap.

I'm surprised Apple went #10 overall but not surprised he went in the 1st round. He was a top corner in the draft this year.

I said it on draft night Burns was an awful pick. Who knows, we'll see in a few years.

Are you nuts? Other than Bosa & Zeke, Vannett is probably the most sure thing of the remaining Buckeyes. Most of you idiots are gonna be amazed by how good he becomes in 2-3 years and when that happens each one of you say to yourself "that fucking Tiernan was always a genius"
