Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.), assistant to the Speaker, said the healthcare bill had been "subjected to unprecedented level of public scrutiny."
Pressed on whether C-SPAN cameras would be allowed in negotiations, Van Hollen hedged.

"We don't even know if there's going to be a conference committee," he said, alluding to the likelihood that Democrats will reconcile the two bills behind closed doors.

Of course it will be behind closed doors because they know that open public scrutiny on this 100% Democrat-owned debacle will be disastrous for the party.

Honestly, I put her in the "evil" category. Her motives are pure politics to the detriment of just about everything that is good, fair and right about this country.

This is so hard to sit by helplessly and watch happen. I have written countless letters, made numerous phone calls, and gone to town halls to ask questions, but no one will listen to what the people want. Now, it will be done behind our backs and shoved down our throats....

There are reasons why one after another they are deciding to not run for re-election. 2010 and 2012 I know I will be sending a message with my votes! Hopefully the rest of the country will too!
