I think it will be interesting to see how the results actually turn out. As Sleeper mentioned rally attendance is typically a poor indicator of election day success. Also, I don't want a super liberal court but if I have to choose between a super liberal court or a court of conservatives appointed by Donald Trump, I'm picking the liberal court. At least I can sleep at night knowing a woman's right to choose is in safe hands.

Agreed. I don't really want a wacky liberal court but I also don't want a Conservative Christian Theocracy of a court either. If forced to choose I'm going liberal.

It's too bad the SCOTUS is no longer used the way it was meant to be. You have just justices forcing their skewed interpretations of the constitution and making decisions that impact us for a lifetime. There should be term limits on the SCOTUS. Not to mention, why the fuck are we letting these 75+ year old people making these decisions for our country?

Unfortunately some of the younger progressives here have little understanding of the long-term implications of liberal courts; not just the supremes, but all federal benches and appeals courts. They have the power to literally overturn the voices of the States -- so you better have judges that are restrained and do not legislate from the bench. Trump will nominate/appoint those who will not legislate from the bench; Clinton will nominate/appoint radical leftists who will continue to impose their cultural Marixism upon The People, regardless of what elected legislatures do. Very, very stark difference here, and one with effects that last decades or more.

The only positive I can see with Trump is he will shake up the status quo. We've become a society that shuns any reasonable debate about any issue because we care more about feez than realz and Trump will definitely hammer the hell out of that. The issue is, I don't think Trump in 8 years is going to fix feelz over realz and could potentially make it much worse in the future because society has become of clusterfuck of stupid people breeding and voting. They aren't going to change because the President isn't PC.
