I just agreed with you that it was bad, we found some common ground. You don't need to convince me trump is bad.
I want to know if you are going to hold everyone else with the same accountability (I.e. Currently upset with trump) or are you going to toe party lines? Hillary has tried to silence Bill's victims. Essentially aiding sexual assault. Just a step below sexual assault. Are you taking that lightly?
I think, to speak in general, this is big more because of timing than anything else, as it's a lot harder to do damage control when it's early October and stuff comes out. I think, in reference to what you said, Trump was pretty stupid in not being more aggressive when he's had the opportunity (although, would that really matter since Hillary could use "plausible deniability" because of how Bill settled out of court with Jones and neither Broaddrick (sexual assault) or Willey (groping) progressed beyond allegations that never went to court?) to score points off that.
This is the sort of thing that won't effect anyone who was set in their ways (except for the humor that will be provided by watching CC and QQ trying to spin it as their latest tin-foil conspiracy with words being put into his mouth and so on), but could have a big effect on undecideds. When you have high-ranking R party people opening condemning his comments, it's not good. When you have other R politicians trying to distance themselves from him because they're trying to get re-elected, it's really not good.
It just basically comes down to how it's one thing to say you're sick of establishment politicians and want to look outside the box and another thing to pick a human faux pas simply because he's not establishment. I'd imagine the vast majority of us on this forum would look intelligent and presidential standing next to Trump. He might have looked good and in charge when he was going again a crowd of 138573473 R candidates because his bombastic nature stood out from a pack of largely anonymous people, but now that it's one-on-one, he just seems out of his element.
