My dad actually bought the 10/22 at least 15 years ago. I have an ar-15 and I can't afford to shoot it like I can the 10/22. I'm usually just shooting at cans or targets so I don't really need stopping power. But I'm on a rimfire Facebook group and they are making me want more. LolBelly35;1777703 wrote: What was your reasoning for getting 10/22? What usage is it for in your opinion?
note: I understand just for the hell of it..

*^^^ spot on.
A lot if people don't know that you can use Ruger's BX-25x2 magazine in their 10/22 in place of the flush 10 round rotary magazine . That's 50 rounds!

Huh, I'm not sure of the brand but I have several 30 round mags for my 10/22. Make my fingers sore loading them and then they are empty in about 30 seconds. : thumbup:HitsRus;1777735 wrote:*^^^ spot on.

This is where a BX-25 mag reloaded comes into play. I just started to use my AR 15. .556 mag reloaded ....the wife will now use it and help with reloading. Im going to build me an Ar10, I bought everything to do it with back in November just have not had the time to build it. I bought 3000 rounds of .308 at a surplus auction a few days ago. Now I need something to shoot them through.

It will be fun to shoot. I have a few .308 rifles that I have enjoyed through the years. I have wanted to build an ar10 for awhile. Now I have a reason too. I just need to decide on my optics I really want to get a good long distance scope. The problem is the price and all the ones I want will cost more than I have in the gun.Belly35;1777822 wrote:.308 ... M14 7.76 .. It seems Facebook is cracking down on gun groups. Every single group I'm in is scrambling to change their rules.

I am in about 20 or so groups and they all were changing names last night. Most of them just moved over to MEWE. Sucks I have found some real good deals on those sights. I dont use mewe much but guess I will have to start using it now that facebook has changed its rules.FatHobbit;1778995 wrote:It seems Facebook is cracking down on gun groups.
