Is maxing 401k's, maxing roth's, and contributing to a side brokerage account doing okay?Automatik;1776869 wrote:I'm doing very well in that department.

You can tell Monty loves rural Ohio because of the "Dollar General on every corner" philosophy that's taken root.

I've never not lost brain cells after reading one of Monty's posts. Simply Terrible.

I have never drank coffee or tea either. Can't stand the taste of either.
I can't say the same for energy drinks or pop however...

I've only once tried coffee, so technically I have drank it. Minimal on the tea as welljmog;1777010 wrote:I have never drank coffee or tea either. Can't stand the taste of either.

Wouldn't you have had to drink them at least once to know you can't stand the taste? At least when I hear "Thinks I haven't done: drank coffee or tea", my assumption is they've never even sampled them and not they tried them, decided they suck and never tried again.jmog;1777010 wrote:I have never drank coffee or tea either. For me, I drank coffee a lot in and right after college, but haven't in a long time. I do occasionally drink tea. Chai's pretty good stuff.

It's fairly odd in our friend group. There is only one other girl who hasn't tried either, but she is even more extreme. She never drinks caffeine of any kind. She can have about half a soda and be wired.Commander of Awesome;1777000 wrote:That's crazy.
I drink soda, but not for the caffeine. I just like it once in a while. I don't need anything to wake me up in the mornings.

Technically I have tried both, but literally never more than a sip. I have never even drank a mouth full of either.Heretic;1777015 wrote:Wouldn't you have had to drink them at least once to know you can't stand the taste? Tried coffee and tea. Hated both. Have never had a sip of it again. Love the smell of coffee in the AM though.

Sound like a kid that had their first taste of beer. Tastes bad at first, but you grow to love it.Laley23;1777054 wrote:Tried coffee and tea. Hated both. Have never had a sip of it again. Love the smell of coffee in the AM though.

Kind of. But if I don't need caffeine for any reason, why keep drinking it until I like it? I like to get drunk, so I'm glad I grew to love beer.Commander of Awesome;1777058 wrote:Sound like a kid that had their first taste of beer. Tastes bad at first, but you grow to love it.

However, with my job, I don't really need coffee. If that ever changed, my consumption might as well.
