Whoa dude. Whoa.SportsAndLady;1776364 wrote:There actually is a Walmart close to me. Not the Walmart that most are used to seeing. They have Walmart's that are designed for the city throughout Chicago.
It's not any cheaper than any other store. That's the thing, Walmart may be cheaper for rural areas like where Monty more than likely lives. But it's not here. And Walgreens usually has most of their shit on sale so it's actually way cheaper. Plus I only buy about 10 things at Walgreens, and it's usually shit for mixed drinks or a bottle of wine, food items like sugar or salt and pepper when I run out of them, or snacks or candy...I'm not buying hundreds of dollars worth of shit at Walgreens it's little things here and there and they're usually on sale.

Never flown first class.
Never ridden Greyhound or other bus company in lieu of flying
Never appeared in Sports Illustrated.
Never appeared live on CNN with Madeline Albright and William Cohen.
However, my wife has done all of those things, strangely enough - and all of them after we were married except Greyhound.
My wife has never been called for jury duty. ( I have, four times).
My wife has never been to Hawaii. ( I have, twice - the second time I left her in LA while I flew to Honolulu. She has never gotten over that, strangely enough)

In my location Walgreens, Duane Reade, CVS are all "expensive" for everyday items. I try to shop there as infrequently as possible.
Hope this helps.

I'm not wrong dumbfuck. This might be too much for your tiny, undeveloped brain to take in, but things are different in different places. Perhaps in the Walgreens downstairs, a toothbrush on sale with a Walgreens card is cheaper than going to a Walmart.MontyBrunswick;1776426 wrote:according to the links, no, they aren't.

I have a friend that does all her shopping at Walgreen's. She lives in Oklahoma City. Says it's cheaper than Walmart.

This is perhaps the worst topic I've ever seen on the OC and that includes the "What are you having for lunch tomorrow?" threads.

The threads I start are for intellectuals only. There are very few intellectuals left on the OC so there's really no discussion that ever takes place. Mostly its stuff like "What are you eating?" and "Try this new workout".Ironman92;1776442 wrote:Start a good thread then lottery man.

I don't know of an example in which that is the case. Does every company push frequent purchaser programs? I honestly don't know because I don't believe I have been asked at every business I engage with. I know I haven't ever been pushed to sign up at the Marathon station I stop at. I just don't have an interest purchasing in one place over another for a kickback proceed. I decide to buy based on the current price and product.Laley23;1776323 wrote:Im not really arguing here. I'm just legit stunned by it. If you have to use a product, and no company in that field DOESNT offer rewards, I don't see why you wouldn't sign up. You can't go anywhere else that doesn't offer it, to support their decision to not offer it.
There's really not more to it than that for me.
