I don't remember who he was facing for the nomination. Was it a tight race?QuakerOats;1778456 wrote:Reagan skipped the final debate before the '80 Iowa caucuses ---- won the general in a landslide.

Oh yeah. Well I don't recall the circumstances of Reagan's skipping the debate. But Trump doing it now seems petty. I he gets pissy about Megan Kelly, what the hell's he going to do with characters like Putin? Besides, giving Cruz the stage seems like a terrible strategy.majorspark;1778460 wrote:Bush Sr.

Are your prepared to vote for Trump? I realize you hate Hillary and all that. But are you ready to have this guy as C-i-C?

My vote doesn't matter in DC, but if its trump vs the other two options I would vote trump easy. People talk about how the GOP can't provide any good candidates, but they fail to realize the dems are offering up a pile of shit as well.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1778502 wrote:.

Rubio in the primaries, but if it's trump v Hillary/Bernie in general I'm going trump.

If he is the nominee, then so be it. I would vote for the garbage collector over Clinton; she doesn't have one ounce of integrity in her body, let alone half a brain.

I haven't figured out who I'm voting for in the primaries yet but like everyone else whoever wins I'll be voting for them over Hilary/Bernie.

If you would have asked two weeks ago I would have said Trump no contest..... Now I still vote for him over the liar and the socialist, but I would have to hold my nose.

Thing is out of the three the socialist is the most honest and has a higher degree of integrity than the other two. Trump is the perfect illustration of a pompous ass and no less the political opportunist as the liar. Hillary is a detestable liar whose compass is guided solely by the political winds. The republicans better nominate a candidate with some principal, honesty, and integrity. They still have a chance. God help us if come November the only viable choices are Trump/Hillary.HitsRus;1778618 wrote:If you would have asked two weeks ago I would have said Trump no contest..... It is great watching the MSM squirm. It does seem they care more about the ratings(whether its a democrat or republican debate). I don't watch the debates, but the first thing I hear the next day is what kind of ratings the networks got. and Trump sorta has a point, he has basically won every debate and there are way too many people invited to the debate.

I would NEVER vote for Trump in the primaries. I can't stand the man.Dr Winston O'Boogie;1778502 wrote:.

However, if it honestly comes down to Trump v Hilary or Trump v Sanders, unfortunately yes, I would vote for the lesser of 2 evils (I truly believe that Sanders is the best person of those 3, just his policies are terrible).

Who knew all it takes to get GOP voters to support liberal priorities is Donald Trump.
