Hooker came out saying "100% returning next year". He's projected as #1 draft eligible safety, I find it REALLY hard to believe he stays...that's a TON of $ to leave on the table. I'll believe it Jan 17th, day after when players have to declare

I can remember when Doss did this, and actually came back. I don't remember how high he was projected if he came out in '01, but when he announced he was coming back in '02, I remember thinking no way. Turned out well for him, and left as a National Champ.

He's not even the best defensive player on his team. Jourdan Lewis is hands down a better player.

Personally, I'd love to let Beck walk and hire Helfrich. I think his offense would work really well with the type of WR we have. Also rumored Oregon is interested in Shiano as HC.Wouldn't mind hiring Urban's old pal Charlie Strong as DC either. Both are probably pipe dreams, but I'd like it

Yep, seems like Simmons could see the writing on the wall.
