I had a blast in Norman on Saturday. the rain delay made me get too drunk and i was a bit of an ass particularly until halftime. Still had fun.

More... how was Norman, the fans, especially after the game? Wanted to go so bad but just too damn busy.j_crazy;1811645 wrote:I had a blast in Norman on Saturday. the rain delay made me get too drunk and i was a bit of an ass particularly until halftime. Still had fun.

Can't speak for j_crazy but I was there as well and the fans were great. They appreciated the history between the two programs and a lot of them were asking about Columbus because they're planning on going next year. Ohio State fans were all over the place on campus and in the bars but everyone got along great. Quite a few of the Oklahoma fans thought they were going to get their asses kicked which surprised me but they ended up being right, lol. Got to see a little of the campus and it looked pretty nice. Found an Italian restaurant/bar just away from Campus Corner (the main bar/restaurant area) and sat at the bar for 5 hours before heading to the stadium and it was great. Definitely one of the best road trips I've been on.Midstate01;1811666 wrote:More... how was Norman, the fans, especially after the game? Wanted to go so bad but just too damn busy.

Second everything. Norman was great. Their fans were awesome. I hope I didn't piss too many of them off because I'm known to be a belligerent drunk. I would go back in a heartbeat. The campus reminded me a lot of Akron's, both in size, and how it's laid out in relation to the city. You can definitely see the influx of money that school has been getting recently. Tons of new buildings, new facades on buildings, things like that really good atmosphere there too. They were more interested in rooting for their team than shitting on their opponent. Essentially it was the opposite of (insert SEC school name here). I'm working on posting my pictures. But I don't know my tapatalk password and I don't know how to get my pics off my phone without itunes.
