I should also add knowing how to sail and or power boat knowledge. If you can water ski most likely you have a boat or can rent a boat (if you buy a boat without a V berth that just wrong) ... Men should know what a V berth is.
Snow skiing very impressive but also every women want that romantic adventure of a ski lift, fireside warmth and hot wine …. If you can’t ski then just park the car and bring in the luggage boy.. :)

I think you're very out of touch with what women want these days.

Some of these are ridiculous.

Horseback riding?

I agree with cooking. Women love that.

Also, learn to drive a manual. Always surprised to meet middle aged males who have no clue how to drive a stick.

I think it's a solid skill to learn. Also just the concept of a clutch and gears in general....translates to other manually shifting vehicles.

I learned how to drive with manual. I grew up in the country and at aged 15 used to take my Dad's Dodge 3 speed on the column out for a spin on back roads when he was not at home. I remember coming to a stop sign that was on an incline and stalling repeatedly then a car pulls up behind me. Now I am shitting my pants because I did not have my drivers license. I realize its now hopeless with the pressure of another vehicle behind me and not skilled enough to stop myself from drifting back. I put it in gear turn off the engine and get out and wave the guy around and act like I need to check something out with the front tire. I ended up taking my drivers test with a manual.

I know how to drive a manual, but I haven't come across anyone who has one in probably 7 years. It's not very relevant anymore.

Things men need to be able to do:

1. Make money
2. Good sex

Things women need to be able to do:

1. Good sex

If you have enough money for the things you need and have good sex...you'll be just fine. I would guess 75% of divorces stem from one of those two issues...the other 25% of divorces are from women bitching about the amount of golf he is playing.

I'm sure some do, and some don't. I just haven't come across anyone who has a manual car in forever, but that might just be the people I see.

Now remembering my friend used to have a SAAB that was a manual a few years ago, but that is the last time I remember seeing one.

Yes.

I attempted to learn to drive a manual. It was an overrated experience. Then again, I was learning on a Honda Civic, and a not a Corvette or Mustang. I can't really see a scenario where I'd actually want to drive a manual transmission vehicle. Maybe spirited racing on a track, but that's probably it.

All depends on the situation.

I prefer a manual, but if I had to have one here with this fucked traffic and parking, I'd lose my mind.

Having a manual for a daily driver would be miserable.

I have only ever owned a manual. I hate driving an automatic after manual, boring as hell.

I loved having a manual in college, I had my car there freshman yr and would CONSTANTLY get up to borrow my car. All I'd have to say is it's a manual, boom problem solved. No more ppl asking to borrow my car.
