Coach, after talking with a couple kids at school, numbers have varied. I think they have about 7 showing up regularly.

Where is everyone at this week(end)? We stay close to home (thank you Coach T, lol!) this weekend at the New Albany tournament.

Briggs, Independence, Northland, Walnut Ridge and West will all be at the Tom Sparks Memorial this weekend.

Also, gentlemen check your email tomorrow. You will be receiving our first Columbus City League Coaches poll. All 15 teams will be listed for you to rank. You'll also receive individual nomination form for you to recommend your wrestlers on. This is something new that we are trying this season.

With most results not being posted, the rankings may not be as accurate due to not seeing certain wrestlers or seeing results of certain wrestlers. After the first city duals, we should have a pretty accurate assessment for individuals and teams! : thumbup:

Quick note for all Head Coaches. If you don't have an MyOHSAA account talk to your AD and have them set you up one. The reason being is because it easier to rate officials the next day than waiting until the end of the season. I keep notes and rate officials during meets and tournaments so when I log on its easier for me to rate them on the site.

We finished 7 out of 12 @ Groveport, Congrats to 106 Amadi Bakari for 1st, Austin Sable 195 for 2nd, and Dawson Shaw 285 for 4th.

Yes, but only top 8 teams after pools get to wrestle actual duals; teams 9-14 get a mat to create matches (we finished 10th and left due to very few created matches that served a purpose for us).
Not sure I really like the format, but it's only a 15 min. drive versus our usual hour to hour 1/2! LOL!!
