Benjamin Allbright ‏@AllbrightNFL "We think you'd need to get ahead of #7 to get Paxton Lynch, most likely" -league source via text just now.
Umm, yes please. Means Browns will be sitting pretty.

Well, if he was coming back at 100% then he would go in the first instead of the 4th-5th.Laley23;1793648 wrote:Yeah, no way I would say he will for sure be back at 100% or whatever.
However, I do think it's worth a flyer. I've also always been a fan of top recruits who pan out as top NFL picks. Shows they don't get complacent to some extent.

Of course, but it's 2016, and we have yet to invent something to predict the future.

What's everyone's final predictions? I say we trade down again and pick Conklin.
Also, saw 1 mock having us pick Henry with the 32nd pick. Alabama RBs make me nervous

I've read many Drs believe he will be 100% again just don't know when that will be due to how the nerves grow. He could play this year or 2 years from now. That's where the uncertainty is. To me it's worth a 3rd rd pick. He's the type of guy you can build your defense around and can change games like a Von miller/ MackSportsAndLady;1793646 wrote:Lol there's no way you can say with 100% certainty that someone will be able to fully recover from a severe knee injury with bad nerve damage.

I think we see another trade down, but no idea who we pick after that.Benny The Jet;1793708 wrote:What's everyone's final predictions? I say we trade down again and pick Conklin.

No. If that were true, he wouldn't be going so late. If he truly were Von Miller just a year or two away from recovering 100% from injury, he would be the top pick.Crimson streak;1793709 wrote:I've read many Drs believe he will be 100% again just don't know when that will be due to how the nerves grow. There's definitely a question mark with him. Will he ever be able to play again? Will he ever be able to play like he used to play? There's no way you can say the answer to both of those questions is 100% yes.

Stanley from ND. I don't think they'll get enough value by trading out of 8. They'll take the tackle at 8.Benny The Jet;1793708 wrote:What's everyone's final predictions? I say we trade down again and pick Conklin.

I think Stanley or Conklin is the pick.

Any first round pick gets an extra 5th year on the deal, might make the last few picks of RD1 popular for teams wanting a developmental QB.

I agree with you there. In my opinion it's worth the risk at the 3rd round.SportsAndLady;1793717 wrote:No. If that were true, he wouldn't be going so late. If he truly were Von Miller just a year or two away from recovering 100% from injury, he would be the top pick.

Dolphins trade up to 8 from 13 for Elliot. We take Conklin or Lynch at 13.

I would not want Lynch unless it's 3rd round or later as a major project.slingshot4ever;1793741 wrote:or Lynch at 13.

That's the earliest I want to take flyers.

Stanley is supposedly going 3rd to SD, which will be a shock because Tunsil is much better talent wise. Maybe injury or character concerns.
Hell no on Henry.
I think we stay at 8 and pick Bosa if we don't get a deal, or that we trade down with Miami and grab Treadwell/Coleman/ or I guess Conklin. I think Conklin might go before there if Stanley goes so early.

I'd love to grab Bosa at #8 but I doubt he's still there.iclfan2;1793774 wrote:Stanley is supposedly going 3rd to SD, which will be a shock because Tunsil is much better talent wise. Maybe injury or character concerns.

Tunsil being sued by stepfather is possibly why Stanley is going before him.

I would think its more to do with his injury history.Laley23;1793783 wrote:Tunsil being sued by stepfather is possibly why Stanley is going before him.

I agree and tend to assume that's the case.Commander of Awesome;1793784 wrote:I would think its more to do with his injury history.
But, it is interesting he was rumored to be the pick until today, and the stepfather stuff just broke...yesterday???

Alright locking in who I want the Browns to draft:
1. Bosa
2. Buckner
3. Jack
4. Trade back and take best WR (Coleman or Treadwell), Decker, Lee
I'll be pretty pissed if we take:
Lynch
Cook
Tackle at 8 (Esp Stanley)
CB
Zeke
Fuller
Ragland
Joseph

I like Doctson of the receivers, slightly ahead of Treadwell. He reminds me of a Jordan Matthews type. Think he could be a solid #2 if Gordon ever gets back on the field.
At 8, I like Buckner (but don't think he'll be there) and Jack as long as his knee checked out with the medical team. Like Bosa much more in a 4-3 than 3-4. I wouldn't mind trading down to accumulate more assets /rebuild
