QB and ? Stud OL or DL?SportsAndLady;1829170 wrote:1 and 6 would be real nice.
1 and top 10 would be fine though.
Now let's draft some fucking keepers FFS.

I'd take Garrett with that #1, and then best OL available. QB in the 2nd...just isn't a QB to me worth a top 10 pick. Plus, this Oline has been getting QB's killed all year long. There's so many needs though honestly, that as long as you don't go K or P, you improved your team....hopefully.Ironman92;1829171 wrote:QB and ? Stud OL or DL?

Seems like I'm in the minority, but a 32 year old QB coming from a team that he had Julio and White to throw to his whole career and we have Coleman and Pryor with this OL? I'll pass on that for a #1. Now, if they were close to being a contender, and this put them over the top...sure. But they aren't.Azubuike24;1829160 wrote:If Atlanta would do it, would you trade the #1 overall pick for Matt Ryan in the off-season?

I was thinking that as well. Only has 2 years left on contract and the team is more than 2 away from being a contender.Benny The Jet;1829176 wrote:Seems like I'm in the minority, but a 32 year old QB coming from a team that he had Julio and White to throw to his whole career and we have Coleman and Pryor with this OL? Give me Garrett and then BPA at the Eagle's pick/ a QB if Trubisky or Kizer is there. I also wouldn't be that mad with trading a 2nd rounder for Garappolo if that is available instead of a 1st on Kizer/Trubisky.

This is something I could really get behind. I don't know how willing NE will be to trace garappoloiclfan2;1829177 wrote:I was thinking that as well. Only has 2 years left on contract and the team is more than 2 away from being a contender.

Can we at least wait until closer to the draft to declare no qbs being worth a damn? Someone will emerge.Benny The Jet;1829173 wrote:I'd take Garrett with that #1, and then best OL available. Agreed and I think it will be trubisky if he declares. Either way I'm not sold on any of the qb, they all have some flaws. If I had to pick it would be either trubisky or Kizer. But we shall see closer to the draftSportsAndLady;1829240 wrote:Can we at least wait until closer to the draft to declare no qbs being worth a damn? Someone will emerge.

Kizer and Trubisky (if he comes out, would be stupid not to) will both be top 15 picks. Question is if you take one at #1 or hope one falls to 8ish.

I know we need a qb but let's take the no doubt, blue chipper.....miles Garrett. Our roster is so devoid of talent that we can't pass him up

If they emerge after scouts/gms watch film, then sure. If they are emerging because of a stupid fucking combine or workout with a "positive" interview, then they can fuck right off.SportsAndLady;1829240 wrote:Can we at least wait until closer to the draft to declare no qbs being worth a damn? This. Can we for once take the BPA, instead of getting cute with needs?wes_mantooth;1829258 wrote:I know we need a qb but let's take the no doubt, blue chipper.....miles Garrett. Our roster is so devoid of talent that we can't pass him up

I'm okay with miles garrett. But let's not say he's a sure thing lol. He can very easily be a bust.
Or pull a Browns and get arrested for smacking up a chick the night he's drafted and never see the field.

I don't remember, was Courtney Brown an obvious #1 pick?

We need a QB.
None of the QBs in this draft look very strong. I'd rather draft something else and make a trade for a competent QB, even if it costs us a few draft picks.
The Browns have little talent so hitting on picks is more important than the positions drafted.

I thought Shelton had a chance of making it. He has really played well this year

Haden is trash. I'd take a 6th rounder for Haden at this point.

He really has. I've been VERY happy to eat crow on him and shame on me for bailing on him in a year.Crimson streak;1829432 wrote:I thought Shelton had a chance of making it. He has really played well this year

For those that remember, I wanted Shelton/Erving that yr in the draft, thought both were studs. I was ready to bail on both of them after year one, as both were fucking trash. Glad I was wrong on Shelton being a bitch boy, here's hoping I'm wrong about Erving next season.
