That's a pretty horrible call.

Isn't running after a fair catch a delay of game penalty? I swear I've seen that called.

I gotta ask, wtf is wrong with Steve Buerlein? He sounded drunk as soon as he began talking right before kickoff. Now he is adamant that Hogan cannot under any circumstances run, when the Bengals are completely allowing it.
He's went over 12 yards on 5 of his 6 carries and what if he gets hurt? He's just as likely to get destroyed by Dunlap or Atkins. And what if Pryor has to be an emergency QB for a quarter. The Browns have been using emergency QB's all damn year. What's the worst that can happen, go 0-7?
He is acting like it's Aaron Rodgers playing in week 17 and having already clinched playoffs.

Could Green have 300 yards receiving if they really wanted to? He can get open literally any time vs our secondary. I'd throw it to him every play

Crazy, but if Hue wasn't a moron with his 1st half timeout the Browns could have a chance to lose this game their way on a last possession, instead just less excitingly lose by 7 or 14

I like Hue, I do. But he needs to hire someone to manage the actual game flow for him. That time out was retarded. Not going for it on 4th and 1 and 4th and 2 at 0-6 is dumb too.

Jeff Phelps says that since we are now 0-7 and out of the play off picture, why not play the young guys?
Go Browns.
Go Browns.

Garett is better than any QB right now.

As much as I love JT, he doesn't fit the time frame for this team.Benny The Jet;1818104 wrote:Browns reportedly seeking 2nd rd pick for Joe Thomas

I see 73 getting blown by as much as anyone these days. Take a 2nd all day assuming he's cool with it.

If someone were willing to overpay for Haden, I'd move him too. He is still a good player (when he feels like playing), but he isn't as good as his reputation, and his best days are behind him.

Agreed. A great LT is fantastic to have but he isnt a game changer unless you have a lot of other pieces in place. Tough to build a team around a LT. They are like closers...if your team sucks it really doesnt do much good. Trade him. Gather younger talent. Move forward.sleeper;1818108 wrote:As much as I love JT, he doesn't fit the time frame for this team.

Yes & no. Posturing by coach and trading by front office is fine. Plus, wouldn't want to decrease his trade value if someone is looking.Commander of Awesome;1818282 wrote:Not his call to make, and just stupid to say regardless.

Seattle could use him, too. Hate to see Thomas go, but it's about time we got some value for him while we still can.Sonofanump;1818284 wrote:Minnesota needs OL and likes to overpay.
