I hope the Iowa fans enjoyed the Rose Bowl Parade and getting out of Iowa.

Worst bowl season ever. Closest game was Houston 38-24 in the Peach Bowl

Last night's games were definitely awful. Ratings took a hit, too.Classyposter58;1772464 wrote:Worst bowl season ever. Closest game was Houston 38-24 in the Peach Bowl

Blowouts or either a need for a 8 team playoff.

Why? Seriously then you make the OSU/MSU game pointless. Four is just fine, 6 at the very mostSpock;1772473 wrote:Blowouts or either a need for a 8 team playoff.

Ole Miss is a top 10 team....maybe top 6 right now.
Losses at Memphis, @Florida by 28 and to Arkansas
Won at Bama? Also meat top 25 LSU, Miss St and now Ok St

Is this a joke? 34-6 at half time? I'm to the point where I'm fed up with how bad these bowls are

Everyone who lost in their conference championship game has lost their bowl game. There's no need for an 8 team playoff. There wasn't even a need for 4 teams this year. Bama and Clemson would have been enough.

No it wouldn't. League title on the line....NFL careers and draft statuses to uphold..... Seed for playoff on the line. 8 team playoff wouldn't diminish anything.Classyposter58;1772475 wrote:Why? Seriously then you make the OSU/MSU game pointless. Four is just fine, 6 at the very most

So last year would of been OK? You do remember the 4th ranked team winning it?Con_Alma;1772478 wrote:Everyone who lost in their conference championship game has lost their bowl game. I'm talking about the outcome or the only thing that matters. But I do like the four and how it rotates perfectly for bowlsSpock;1772479 wrote:No it wouldn't. uh yeah. I was never an advocate of the playoffs. There's no reason for it. ...even if Ohio State was ranked 4th and won the National championship by winning two games.Spock;1772481 wrote:So last year would of been OK? You do remember the 4th ranked team winning it?
Bowl season was way better without the playoffs in my opinion.

I will give you this. Look how diminished some of these games have became. No way in hell Oklahoma State should be in the Sugar Bowl. IMO they shouldn't have created a title and just left it to a bowl game insteadCon_Alma;1772483 wrote:uh yeah. I was never an advocate of the playoffs. What's everyone's opinion of the NC next monday? Will you watch? Do you care?
I might watch bits and pieces at most. Don't care who wins. I'm hardly anti-SEC but I'm getting tired of Alabama.

I'll watch. Not really interested, but I'll still watch. I think Clemson can win. They are the kind of offense that gives Bama problems. Plus Clemson has a very good front 7 too.

These games aren't diminished by the playoff. They didn't mean anything before.Classyposter58;1772484 wrote:I will give you this. Look how diminished some of these games have became. How was bowl season better? The bowls have always been useless. The only thing it does is allow the top teams to play other conferences.Con_Alma;1772483 wrote:uh yeah. Didnt know until last night that the PAC12 and the SEC haven't played in a Bowl Game since 2002. This does not include Title games.

I don't need them to be useful. I only need them to be entertaining. In the end it's just entertainment anyway.

The level of fraud perpetrated by the Big 10 this season makes Bernie Madoff smile somewhere.
Just completely exposed for being what we knew it was.

At worst the B1G will be 5-5. Not bad.IggyPride00;1772509 wrote:The level of fraud perpetrated by the Big 10 this season makes Bernie Madoff smile somewhere.
