Should be a pretty interesting match up. ND will be by far the best offense ohio st has faced all year. The Irish will load the box and make jt beat them through the air which shouldn't be hard considering ND's secondary is god awful, especially now that Russell is done for the year. They did a good job stopping McCaffrey but this is a completely different offense. Should be interesting with jalon smith and Elliott going at each other.

ND is young and hungry. OSU will have senioritis and get waxed.

In the past I would agree. But this ND team has a lot of athletes, especially on offense. And in the d line/ lb minus Schmidt

I wasn't really impressed by OSU's secondary this year. I think Fuller has the potential to have a big game for the Irish. I think OSU's D-Line could make it difficult to get the run game going.

On the other hand, ND's secondary is absolute garbage and Barrett could have a field day. Jaylon Smith will be keying on Elliot, like he did with McCaffrey in the Stanford game. And ND's D-line should be able to get some pressure since OSU's O-Line struggled at times this year, especially with Jarron Jones possibly coming back for the bowl game.

I think this will be a lot closer than OSU fans think it will.

It should be, but so should have the MSU game.

If Ohio State comes to play, like they did against Michigan, this game won't be close.

I don't get people saying no bowl game counts except for the playoffs. Did that mean no bowl game mattered besides the BCS title game in the BCS era? How about in the voting era? Bowl games still count and are still meaningful, especially when two traditional premier programs are playing each other for only the 6th time in history. I hope the Buckeyes players take it seriously and don't write the game off because it's not the playoffs or because they are going pro. Win your last game and leave a legacy. For the seniors 49-4 with a National title and major bowl victory is pretty impressive.

Could they have achived more? Of course, but college football is incredibly difficult to repeat in.

Well lets see.... Apple and Conley have been huge disappointments, so Fuller and company should do well against OSU's secondary. ND's secondary is suspect, but so is OSU's passing game. Jaylon Smith is better than any OSU linebacker. Joey Bosa is better than any ND dlineman (including Sheldon Day), but as a whole ND's d line is better than OSU's. So is ND's o line. Zeeke is better than Prosise/Adams. Barrett and Kizer are essentially a wash because they're two different QB's who are better than each other at what they do. Kizer is a better runner than Barrett is a passer though.
The teams are pretty evenly matched. OSU with a slight athletic advantage. Anyone calling for a blowout is an OSU blowhard.

ND hasn't won a January bowl games since 1994. They lost every BCS bowl game they've played in by an average of 22 points.

This will be a blowout. ND is straight garbage. Also laughable that Smith is better than Lee/Rae; he wouldn't start on the Buckeyes and everyone knows it.

Good thing its 2015, huh? And it's very laughable that you think Jaylon Smith wouldn't start for OSU but will be the first Linebacker taken in the draft lol.

I'm amazed it's 2015 and people still take Cap'n Hot Take seriously enough to argue with him, especially on topics where he basically exists on auto-pilot (Ohio State is better than everyone at everything; ND sucks). I mean, at least wait until he shows some effort or at least tries to draw blood. He hasn't even mentioned Declan Sullivan yet!

When's the last time a ND linebacker did anything in the pros? He's overrated. Again, no doubt he rides the bench at OSU.

ND fans think ND has been due since 1988, the last year ND meant anything in CFB.

If any ND fans want to make a bet on the game, let me know. There is ZERO doubt OSU loses to freaking ND. Like wtf.

I can't wait to see Jaylon Smith try and tackle Zeek. ND hasn't played against a RB as good as him since Pittman in the Fiesta Bowl last time who gashed them for 136 yards.

The talent level isn't close. Anyone who thinks this is anything more than OSU playing a MAC caliber school is delusional.

Is Zeke going to be in New York, or just McCaffrey?
