Well that's obvious.Automatik;1772503 wrote:How about they just don't play like total dogshit and take care of business against MSU?
I'm simply making note of the irony on how the season played out.

ND is pretty bad honestly. I think we pitch a shut out if Bosa wasn't ejected. Targetting rule needs to be revamped.

Doesn't matter that was spearing anyways. Can't lead with the crown of the helmet and never have been allowed tosleeper;1772516 wrote:ND is pretty bad honestly. I think we pitch a shut out if Bosa wasn't ejected. Targetting rule needs to be revamped.

i agree completely. It would be one thing if it was malicious...call the penalty, but at least make ejection non mandatory.sleeper;1772516 wrote:ND is pretty bad honestly. I think we pitch a shut out if Bosa wasn't ejected. Targetting rule needs to be revamped.

I get the rule but an ejection needs to have some more behind it. That was not a dirty play at all and that's why it's a bad rule.Classyposter58;1772518 wrote:Doesn't matter that was spearing anyways. Can't lead with the crown of the helmet and never have been allowed to

ND got stomped though as expected. Trash football team.

It needs to be like in basketball how's there two different level flagrant fouls. One where its malicious and dirty, and the player needs ejected. And one where it's a targeting infraction, but the player stays in the game.

I just wish Osu had played with that heart and determination all year. They just didn't deal well with the pressure and I also think the coaches did a poor job managing the qb situation. BUT still a very successful year for buckeye football.

For some reason I thought this was the rule.SportsAndLady;1772531 wrote:It needs to be like in basketball how's there two different level flagrant fouls. One where its malicious and dirty, and the player needs ejected. And one where it's a targeting infraction, but the player stays in the game.

You might be confusing targeting with flagrant PF.sleeper;1772538 wrote:For some reason I thought this was the rule.

Hard to say it wasn't a dirty play though, he put his head completely down and drove right into Deshone. IMO it's not an ejectable foul, targeting needs to be a direct hit to the head. I do believe however targeting needs to carry a more severe penalty, any ejection carries a 2 game suspension with the OHSAA and I would like to see the NCAA do something similar however it can be subject to overturn the day after if the NCAA feels it was an iffy decisionsleeper;1772529 wrote:I get the rule but an ejection needs to have some more behind it. Kizer barely even felt contact. Kizer is jumping and his body is going sideways/backwards. Bosa hits him and his momentum is also going towards Kizer. So he doesn't even get like a hard forceful hit. I think it should be a penalty not not an ejectable offense unless it's to the head.
Also 2 series later, a lb hit Barret the exact same way, no penalty.
I've seen more talk about Irish fans thinking Jaylon Smiths injury was a dirty play, which is just stupid.

Bosa isn't a dirty player. You're straight retarded if you think that was even remotely dirty.Classyposter58;1772545 wrote:Hard to say it wasn't a dirty play though, he put his head completely down and drove right into Deshone. Barret had just thrown the ball and the defender hit him with the top of his helmet? I don't remember that.Midstate01;1772550 wrote: Also 2 series later, a lb hit Barret the exact same way, no penalty.
