I've yet to actually hear what Missouri's president did or didn't do that justified his stepping down. All I've heard is

- someone drew a poop swastika on a bathroom wall
- someone off campus yelled a racial slur
- someone claimed the kkk was on campus (but they weren't)

Did I miss something?

He also said something like "Systemic oppression is because you believe you don't have the same opportunities as others" or something like that to a bunch of black protesters. His car also "hit" someone a protester at the parade.

Yeah, so basically no reason.

So yes, in essence literally nothing happened, and even if the first 2 did happen, has nothing to do with a college president. If he spoke out against name calling and other stupid shit that is all he would do every day. This wuss generation is absurd, and I can't imagine any one of them working at a real job.

In other LOL news, Xavier had a moment of silence for Mizzou the other night. I'm baffled and appalled by this. The direction our country is going in is scary.

I mean, Xavier was playing Missouri. So it wasn't like they just had it before a random game that had nothing to do with the situation. But in fairness, a bunch of Xavier fans think it was pretty dumb. Found this comment on one of the Xavier boards.
I heard this announcement just as I got to my seat. I believe they said the Xavier Student Body had asked for a moment of silence to show solidarity with the students at Missouri. I also think it was the briefest moment of silence I ever heard.

THese kids should be mad at the fact our country is trying to let in thousands of people from Syria to take away their handouts from the government.

Xavier's a Jesuit school. They'll find a reason to have a moment of silence and prayer for anything.

Lol moving to Qatar for safety, that's rich. Fuck that whole family. The thing was a set up from the get go and the loony media ran with it. Hook, line, and sinker. Completely asinine.

What a fucking joke if he actually wins. I hope one day the city "hurts" my feelz and I can get a big pay check.
The whole thing was a scam from the beginning. Basically, the kid's dad is a scam artist and was just trying to play the victim card for a payday anyway.

I said millennials. Plural. Implying more than one.

They're starting to take over senior roles in society and look how the world begins to unravel.

Pretty impressive that a generation who's oldest members are 33 and in which half hasn't even voted in one President are making such drastic changes in society.

Millenials aren't in charge of anything, anymore than boomers were in charge during the Viet Nam war era. Gen X and Y are in charge now, along with some lingering boomers.

That doesn't mean millenials can't affect change or muck things up.

Don't Gen Y and millennials refer to the same group?
