.... We now seen a new society of self - centered individual created by the baby boomers who coddled the fuck out of their kids and raised them saying that they were more special and more important and better than everyone else.

lol...knew that was coming too, S&L......really, "it's the baby boomers fault" is a troll that has been played out.

Besides, it doesn't take a genius to know where this kind of attitude shown in those videos comes from comes from.
Hint: it doesn't come from libertarians, moderate or conservative Republicans, or even moderate Democrats.

I hope they are able to find the healing they need in their safe space. As long as reality is not allowed in, I think they will be fine.

Protesters say racism at Mizzou — sometimes blatant, sometimes subtle — has simmered on campus for decades.
In 2010, white students scattered cotton balls outside the Black Culture Center.
In September, Head — the student body president — vented on Facebook about bigotry and anti-homosexual and anti-transgender attitudes after people riding in the back of a pickup truck screamed racial slurs at him.
In October, someone used feces to draw a swastika on the wall of a residence hall.
Even on Tuesday night, some reported incidents of threat or intimidation on campus.
“Im shaking and crying these white guys are in a monster blue pick up truck no license plate circling our car we almost couldnt get out,” one student tweeted.

All that stuff seems pretty trivial compared to Payton Head - UM student body president - falsely announcing the KKK was on campus on Facebook.

I think the great irony in all of this is the lead protestor/hunger striker, Jon Butler, who comes from a family who's Dad is an exec making $8M/year at a railroad company, wants people to admit their "privilege". LOL

This fucking country is going to rot.

We have So many problems like ISIS, Russia, and economic struggles. Instead of protesting something that is actually important their protesting over hurt feelings. The worst part is the educators are encouraging these actions.

Some of these so called adults are just overgrown children themselves. Like I said earlier, something, maybe not in our lifetime is going to happen to shake up this crazy shit! The pendulum has swung so far to the left it is nearly vertical! lol

Yep, and they are bringing up their kids with the "timeout's are better than spanking your kid", "my kid's perfect, he never does anything wrong....gotta be YOUR fault" and "I don't want Lil Johnny feeling hurt so EVERYONE wins a prize!" mentality. Turning into (or has already turned into) a super pussified country.

Allegedly the hunger strike was fake too. The rumor is that Butler was being snuck food at night by some of his friends.

A lot of things have already come out as fake/unreliable. The only issue that led to the firing that has any evidence was the fact that he didn't come out of his car during the protest and that his car "hit" one of the protesters. Also, Tim Wolfe did implement a mandatory racial sensitivity program for everyone and he has expelled students in the past for using racial slurs on campus. Essentially, this whole protest was an unjustified witch hunt based on bad data; so much so you could probably make a strong argument that they wanted him out because he was white.

I think Wolfe got a nice severance package for stepping down and was probably happy to do so because of the precedent that has now been set.

Yeah. This article goes through the allegations and what led up to Wolfe stepping down. The three main things that they keep pointing to are (1)the swastika in feces in a dorm bathroom, (2)someone using a racial slur towards a student off campus, and (3)someone using a racial slur towards a student on campus. No proof of #1 anywhere, nothing the president can do about #2, and #3 would be something that should be addressed, but not something that the president should have to step down for.

So 5 things happened on a college campus and this happens?

I love that Ithica College students are basically going all HAM and their excuse is that "they dont feel safe"

Wonder what the crime rate is there?

I heard about wanting a "safe space" and why they wanted to keep the media out, I didn't hear where they said "black only" like you imply.

Or....."link?"

More trash coming out of Missouri. This poor woman is trying to share a traumatic experience and is basically forced to leave the "safe space" (where you are safe to discuss controversial opinions and stories without push back from your peers).

Fuck these people. They aren't there for "equality" they're there for "white people are evil" and because this woman's narrative didn't fit their narrative, they don't care to listen.

Can't wait for the Missouri football game where they'll probably be received as heroes for "making a difference".
