You're the biggest troll on this site, and bring absolutely nothing of value to any thread. Go away. You won't be missed, except by Tiernan as he would need a new whipping boy to bend over in your absence (although I guess he would still have like_that).

I'm confused about how things have "panned out" in Oakland. They still aren't good.

Carr's going to be a very good QB because he has the WEAPONS to do so. Their defense is lacking but they have a nice building block in Mack.

A middle tier team for sure. Might end up 6-10 or 7-9 but they are far more formidable than I'm used to seeing. The o-line protects Carr well and he has a great presence to avoid trouble in the backfield. They look a year away from contending for the playoffs but they are better....offense more so than the defense.

Really?

When was the last time Oakland was .500 after 8 games and actually watchable. They have some nice pieces in place for the future.

I'll give Oakland a bit of a pass considering 3 of their 4 losses were to Cincinnati, Pittsburgh and Denver. They shouldn't have lost to the Bears...but they aren't done yet.

To me they just look like a Cleveland team. They beat the bad teams and lose to the good ones, all while playing every game close, regardless of whether they should win handily or lose handily. Three of their wins are against Cleveland, Baltimore, and SD. Those three teams only have 3 wins between them against the rest of the league.

They do play 5 bad teams (TEN, DET, KC x 2, SD) and 3 good teams (GB, DEN, MIN). 9-7 puts them in contention for a spot most likely. Given they beat the Jets and lost to the Steelers, the tiebreakers will probably be crazy anyway. I don't see any other teams beside Denver, Cincinnati and New England at 10 or more wins anyway.
