So Manziel has completed 39 passes in his short career, 5 or 6 of which were "quality/wow type completions" (one of those being a schoolyard Hail Mary "prayer"), and suddenly he's the next Fran Tarkenton and will be better than Flacco & Roethlisberger? Now I think that he SHOULD be out there so they can at least say they evaluated him before drafting the new regimes QB in the 2016 draft but excessive infatuation by certain individuals would make even Linda Lovelace blush (look it up for you younger guys).

Any word on turbin this week? I really think he could do this team wonders in the run game. Was always a fan of his

I thought they were targeting week 5 for his return.

Guys, it's going to be ok. Me signed Davis to a 2 yr extension.

@DawgsByNature: I look forward to Austin Davis starting in front of whatever rookie QB we draft for the next years. #NeverPlayTheRookie #NeverLearn

He never showed it Seattle, I'm bit optimistic.

He averaged 4 ypc in his time with Seattle. I'll take that over the current assclowns on this roster.

...and I believe, in hindsight obviously, that is too high of a draft ranking. Obviously I have the benefit of time over those that were trying to project so it's not a fair comparison but none the less I don't think he's worth the "investment" of a first round pick.

It's so, so sad to actually argue, in support of his delusional opinion, that none of us watched one of the most entertaining Heisman winners in recent memory who happened to play in the most nationally recognized conference.

Not quite as bad as arguing against mathematics, but still bad.
Footwedge is the sports version of Isadore on this site. Picks a couple talking points to say over and over again and ignores everything else that even remotely contradicts them to the point where you wonder if you're talking with a human or a more evolved sort of spam bot.

A school yard hail Mary? You are one dumb mofo that's for sure. Might want to wiki the term hail Mary before you re affirm to all what an ass you are.

One thing that people forget is that Manziel came out early, and a lot of his problems were immaturity issues.

It was a prayer. It was NOT the play that was designed. He scrambled and threw the ball up there. Keep slurpin' away though.....

A lot of his problems were also his inability to play football.

He was a product of the system at A&M.

Obviously way too early to talk about the draft, but this is exactly why you put Jff in now. Figure out if you are using your pick on a QB or not.

I was just trolling you guys because someone said awhile back about no "draft talk. :D " I do agree with your statement though. Between now and the draft, the consensus overall top QB will probably change quite a few times.

You would only have to play Johnny for a few games then he would likely be hurt again and then Josh would be back in anyway. If you think either of these are the long term answer I would think you are dead wrong.

That's incredibly dumb.

"Don't put your first round qb in because he could potentially get hurt"

Like that is correct. Play him to find out where you stand with him.

You must not be able to read well. I said play him and he will likely be hurt in a few games...I don't see him as the future.

Browns picking 5th is a bit optimistic.

Outside of IQQY and FW i don't think anyone here is even remotely suggesting he is, however, he hasn't played enough for us to be 100% certain he's not.
