It's pretty simple at this point...the Final Four will be, by-in-large, determined by these games.
Ohio State/Michigan State winner
Clemson/Florida State winner
TCU/Baylor winner
Alabama/LSU winner
Notre Dame/Stanford winner
Utah/Stanford winner (Pac 12 Title game)
Ohio State/Michigan State winner
Clemson/Florida State winner
TCU/Baylor winner
Alabama/LSU winner
Notre Dame/Stanford winner
Utah/Stanford winner (Pac 12 Title game)

These aren't predictions, I don't think they are a contender either. But the truth is, Notre Dame still is a factor because of their schedule. They might lose to Temple or Pittsburgh upcoming, but after that, they will have a chance with the Stanford game.

1. Ohio State
2. LSU
3. Baylor (great offense, still don't like teams that play no defense)
4. Alabama (looking better each week only LSU left in front of them)
a 2nd SEC won't get in if Clemson remains undefeated which they easily could, Utah I still think will lose 2 games, but if Stanford only loses 1 game they will get in over the 2nd SEC school. Notre Dame if they run the table because they are Notre Dame will have a good chance of getting in. Still a lot of scenarios to play out in the next few weeks.

1) OSU
2) LSU
3) TCU over Baylor
4) Clemson if undefeated, if not Alabama and believe PAC-12 shut out this year when Utah's slipper falls off.

No way you get both LSU and Bama in. It's either going to be 1 or the other. If Bama wins, LSU won't have enough time to climb back with Arkansas, Ole Miss, and A&M and no SEC championship game after Bama. If LSU wins, that gives Bama two losses and they aren't getting in with 2 losses with how many 1 loss teams there will be.Sonofanump;1757906 wrote:I'm very close to you.

I don't think anyone can easily go undefeated.
Right now I'd go
1. OSU
2. Baylor
3. LSU
4. Clemson
When it's all said and done....
No clue really
Safe guess: OSU, LSU, Baylor, Clemson
Risky bet but you never know
Mich St, TCU, Bama, Stanford
Right now I'd go
1. OSU
2. Baylor
3. LSU
4. Clemson

6) Michgian State at 1) Ohio State
4) LSU at 7) Alabama
2) Baylor at 5) TCU
9) Notre Dame at 8) Stanford
10) Iowa vs Ohio State/Michigan State
11) Florida vs Alabama/LSU
Minus 3) Clemson, we essentially have these games that will determine the outcomes.
Florida State, Oklahoma and maybe a surprise SEC team could shake it up, but things are going to work themselves out in a nice fashion this year.

Glad those matchup are to come and will sort a lot....but looks to me like it's going to be a bit of a clusterfuck for at least 2 of the spots. A couple of unpredictables will happen to those top 8 teamsAzubuike24;1758967 wrote:6) Michgian State at 1) Ohio State

1. Ohio State
2. Baylor (QB with a broken bone in his neck is a concern)
3. LSU
4. Clemson (moved ahead of Alabama for me)

Standing by my comment that both TCU and Baylor lose before the regular season is over. Baylor will lose to Oklahoma, tcu will lose to baylor.

No way they win out. 2 more losses. LSU and Auburn/Mississippi State. Technically, you're right though.superman;1759019 wrote:Just remember, if Ole Miss wins out, they are in the SEC title game.

Interesting too...say Ole Miss does win out. Say Memphis wins out.
Does Memphis, with wins over Kansas, Bowling Green, Ole Miss, Cincinnati, Navy, Houston and Temple twice (one being AAC CG), get consideration for the playoff at 13-0?

If Ole Miss wins out and SEC Championship ....then yes a 13-0 would be considered but 1:100 chanceAzubuike24;1759113 wrote:Interesting too...say Ole Miss does win out. Say Memphis wins out.

I think the Ole Miss part is unlikely, simply because they aren't that great. However, the Memphis 13-0 is definitely possible. Not sure they can beat Temple twice, though.
Same argument could be made for Temple too. They could be 13-0 with wins over Penn State and Notre Dame. They don't have nearly the AAC schedule of Memphis though, no Navy, Houston or Cincinnati.

There is no technicality. If they win out, they are the SEC West Champs.

I'm saying, they will lose one of those and LSU
