Pretty sure the cavs have to feel very very good after this game. They shot 30% and missed a ton of free throws in 4th quarter, yet it was a 1 possession game with 30 seconds left. Cavs will get completely healthy and find their groove and they're going to be very very toughClassyposter58;1771359 wrote:Maybe that game shows delirious Cavs fans that once again they're an also-ran in the modern NBA. Golden State or San Antonio will take the cake this season

That was definitely the longest accidental put back by the defender trying to rebound in the history of basketball.

Haha what do you think I do? I'll tell you I'm an area supervisor at a large distribution center in the area and will make over 50,000 this year. It's solid for now being in my early 20s but thankfully there's now a ton of room to grow following our big acquisition a few months ago

Sixers win
Clips win without Griffin as Pierce goes for 20, Redick goes for 25 and Jamal Crawford has lost his only skill set.

You're right that the Cavs will have better shooting days. But GSW didn't shoot well, either. Curry & Thompson had an off nights by their standards.Midstate01;1771362 wrote:Pretty sure the cavs have to feel very very good after this game. The Cavs aren't going to win a 7-game series against GSW with Love playing like shit. He needs to fucking figure it out. Tired of watching games where you have to literally look for him on the court to remember if he's playing or not. I think at the beginning of the 4th quarter Cleveland had most if not all of their starters out there against GSW's lineup of Ezeli, Livingston, and Ian Clark and whoever else (even McAdoo maybe?) and couldn't trim into that 5-7 point lead. The Warriors get production all the way down their roster. Cleveland can't afford to trot Mozgov, Shumpert, Love and Mo Williams out there and not get shit.

Love was excellent in Minnesota on the perimeter but not shooting 3's.....he could drain the 18-21 ft shot. Back a couple feet might open up the lane more but IMO makes him less effective and he needs the ball some in the lane. I don't think they are using his skill set well. Great at rebounding still.

The offense gets too complacent at times, as everyone stands on the wing while LBJ dribbles for 18 seconds, then drives or jacks up a three.
Once Kyrie is back (full time), I'll be interested to see if more of an offense is being run. Hell earlier this season, they were running a more legit offense, running it through the post, where Love was able to score efficiently, or make the right play and kick to the wide open guy, but for what ever reason we go away from that pretty much immediately, and turn in to a strictly jump shooting/three ball team.

Quote myself for awesomeness...but on a smaller scale (much) IMO that was part of what knocked B.J. Mullens from the league. His first year with Charlotte he played on the perimeter but didn't shoot many 3's and the next year the new coach moved him back beyond the 3 point line and shot 3x as many 3's and FG% dropped to a woeful .385Ironman92;1771459 wrote:Love was excellent in Minnesota on the perimeter but not shooting 3's.....he could drain the 18-21 ft shot. I would like see Love used like Blake Griffin on offense.....if Griffin was dropped back beyond the 3 his offensive contributions would drop also. I don't believe the opening of the lane and spreading the offense out more is doing enough to offset how it's taken away from Love's game.
