He didn't mean to offend anyone. He just called Kennedy a very derogatory name. Otherwise, no harm intended.

It's just a word. No need to crucify him because he said a disrespectful word when he got heated.
And I am not a rondo fan at all

Agreed. People need to learn the concept of context.SportsAndLady;1769557 wrote:It's just a word. No need to crucify him because he said a disrespectful word when he got heated.

You're suggesting that Rondo angrily pursuing Kennedy repeatedly calling him a fucking ****** was taken out of context?like_that;1769559 wrote:Agreed. People need to learn the concept of context.

No, players need to not be complete jackasses. Regardless of what word he said, what's the point of what he did. It's 2015 not 2001...you can't just say shit like that now.

People aren't concerned with his following of the ref though. They're butthurt that he said the word "***" to a ref and then a day later that ref came out as gay.
I was more concerned with his harassing of the ref than I was with him saying a disrespectful word in the heat of the moment
But you just knew PC Silver was going to run with this story. He's very good at capitalizing on PC issues.

Maybe Rondo is actually a 150-year old British dude who was repeatedly requesting a cigarette.friendfromlowry;1769568 wrote:You're suggesting that Rondo angrily pursuing Kennedy repeatedly calling him a fucking ****** was taken out of context?

Fucking dumb. If the refs want the game to get out of hand just like game 4 last year then they will let that happen.Ironman92;1769660 wrote:Brad Daughtery going full tard on SC....saying Olenyk (sp) should go after Love early with hard intentional foul to set the tone???

The irony is for being a Boston caster, he sure like to talk about Lebron a lot. It was pretty sad.BR1986FB;1769719 wrote:Tommy Heinsohn?

Hornets 5th in the conference right now. If playoffs were today they'd have a first round matchup with the Heat. That'd be pretty good.gerb131;1770129 wrote:Jeremy Lin with 35 tonight
So Kobe had his first dunk of the year last night and ESPN lost their shit. Nevermind the Lakers lost by 20 and he went 2-7 from the free throw line, though.

Gilbert Arenas on the WNBA and why they need hotter players and more risque uniforms.

Albeit dramatic, he does have a point. If the women were hotter more men would be in tune. Part of the reason why the women's soccer team has such an appeal imo. Same with tennis.

#2)I don't watch WNBA because the girls are ugly; I don't watch the WNBA because the game is boring.

Maybe. The game is still boring. Girls basketball just isn't fun to watch. Even at the highest level, the athleticism that makes the game exciting isn't there.like_that;1770196 wrote:Albeit dramatic, he does have a point. If the women were hotter more men would be in tune. He's essentially saying this...make it less about being basketball and more about selling cool, hot chicks. Lots of other entertainment industries do this. Women's professional wrestling is God awful, but it has found it's niche among fans. They just don't take it seriously as "wrestling" and just want to look at the hottest and most entertaining women.sleeper;1770199 wrote:Maybe. The game is still boring.
