1. Your actions in owning a killer dog are stupid and reckless. They endanger the people around you, but you are too selfish to realize it.
2. You litterally asked for the label.

ASPCA position paper on pit bulls...
https://www.aspca.org/about-us/aspca-policy-and-position-statements/position-statement-pit-bulls

It really is more about socialization of the animal than anything else.
There does not appear to be anything written by anyone with actual expertise that suggests that pit bulls are automatically aggressive, viscious dogs....rather it is the human connection that makes the dog aggressive or a docile family pet.

That the spin, but what is the reality. We can learn some things from the article. They were breed to be killers and used for that purpose through much of their history. To know about their inclination for violence you need a vary detailed and complete history of the dog genealogy.
Why when there are so many dog breeds with no record of killing people, would a person get a dog that kill more people than any other breed by far. That is being irresponsible.

There are a bunch of videos on YouTube of lions being domesticated, I think a pit bull can easily be trained as well

People have dogs for a variety of reasons, and protection and "guard dogs" are a valid reason in some neighborhoods. Any one of a number of dog breeds can be trained for that purpose, so eliminating pit bulls doesn't necessarily translate to less dog attacks. People who want dogs for this reason will simply train other breeds. I think the only thing you can rationally do is to hold owners responsible and accountable.

well he's not selfishly endangering anybody if he socializes his animal properly...or if he responsibly secures his animal.

I have two small children and my pit adores them and vice versa. Hell even the mail man loves my dog.

gosh a ruddies, of course he is endangering others, if you read the reports often you get "he was such a friendly dog." That was just before he killed a 3 year old or tore grandma's throat out.

Gosh a ruddies, Devil's advocate uses a self serving industry produced source. Most of the information is not on point. The temperament stat is completely insignificant. It is not import which dog is most likely to attack. It is most important which is most likely to kill. That is the one vital statistic. Who kills.

[h=2]Myth #1: It's the owner not the breed[/h]The outdated debate, "It's the owner, not the breed," has caused the pit bull problem to grow into a 30-year old problem.1 Designed to protect pit bull breeders and owners, the slogan ignores the genetic history of the breed and blames these horrific maulings -- inflicted by the pit bull's genetic "hold and shake" bite style -- on environmental factors. While environment plays a role in a pit bull's behavior, it is genetics that leaves pit bull victims with permanent and disfiguring injuries.
The pit bull's genetic traits are not in dispute. Many appellate courts agree that pit bulls pose a significant danger to society and can be regulated accordingly. Some of the genetic traits courts have identified include: unpredictability of aggression, tenacity ("gameness" the refusal to give up a fight), high pain tolerance and the pit bull's "hold and shake" bite style.2 According to forensic medical studies, similar injuries have only been found elsewhere on victims of shark attacks.3
Purveyors of this myth also cannot account for the many instances in which pit bull owners and their family members are victimized by their pet dogs. From 2005 to 2014, pit bulls killed 203 Americans, about one citizen every 18 days. Of these deaths, 53% involved a family member and a household pit bull.4 Notably, in the first 8 months of 2011, nearly half of those killed by a pit bull was its owner. One victim was an "avid supporter" of Bad Rap, a recipient of Michael Vick's dogs.
