Yes. Assuming Kyrie gets injured, which he likely will, they will need a defender at the position. Mo can't defend my 81 year old mom.

It's coming out that TT wants the contract that Draymond Green got and that's what's holding it up.

Instead of 5 years $80, he wants 5 years $85/$90.

TT can pound sand. 90 million for a 5th/6th option, rebounded is just silly.

Take the 5 year 80M contract, Tristan you dumbass.

So he's really balking at an extra 1-2M a year when he's got a great shot to get multiple rings and NEVER be blamed or have the spotlight.

He's got the exact situation that 95% of players would dream of.

Maybe he needs to learn a lesson from David West.

If Lebron is somehow behind this (putting the "ask for more" birdie in his ear) and the Cavs don't win a championship, while all of LBJ's "buds" are getting paid, I get the feeling there could be some resentment towards Lebron down the road. He gave the CHeat a discount to play there but I don't see him ever getting any more than the max amount, unless it's toward the end of his career. If they win multiple championships, no one will care....but if they don't win any?

No doubt Lebron is definitely behind this and I think it's partly because he felt cheated by the Heat as far as salary. Lebron has definitely become a "Get mine" type of player and is probably encouraging others to be the same way.

Take it easy. Slow down. This seems a bit extreme after RUMORS of Tristan Thompson wanting more on his contract.

You don't pay a rebounder a max contract. If he wants more he can go somewhere else. If Lebron doesn't like it, fuck him too. I doubt he'd actually leave, but if he did, he wouldn't have any support outside of his Lebron only fans.
