I am hearing a lot about Thompson leaving the Cavs (nothing official just reports saying that it is definitely possible at this point). That's fucking crazy if true. Thought they struck a deal yesterday, what the hell happened?

I saw last night that it wasn't agreed on, after pretty much everyone said it was.

Maybe Dan Gilbert doesn't want that $100M tax fee?

The rumors said Draymond was waiting for TT to reach a deal to base his new deal on. Maybe TT then decided he wants more?

No one can officially sign until July 8th...

Teams have a ballpark figure of what the cap will be but during the first week of July, it's being figured out. LeBron is probably waiting until then to even negotiate. Why rush it when you can't do anything officially?
