"Cosplay", I believe, is short for "costume play" where many of the video games/science fiction movie freaks/geeks dress up like their favorite characters. You usually see this at some of the Comicons (sp?). Some of the women in these outfits can be pretty attractive.

Pretty much. I don't really care about it, but watching cute chicks dress up like anime shit or whatever is always fun to look at.

My office is somewhat close to the Javits Center, where they hold Comic Con every year. I've been once, it was ok, great for people watching. And yes, some of the cosplay girls are super hot.

Oh I bet so. Imagine many use it like they do Halloween as a reason to dress slutty.

I think I was actually in New York last year for comic con. Was it in October? I definitely remember seeing a bunch of nerds dressed up.

Yeah early October I believe. A girl I work with is all about it. She take off work for it annually, also the one in SD.....apparently it's the "big one."

But yeah, I saw some Pokemon looking fools at 7am on my way to work. :laugh:

San Diego is their largest event. Every time I hear the word Cosplay, I think of Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons, for some reason.
