My oldest son is in the Army National Guard. This one has joined the Army. He leaves July 7 for Ft. Benning.

Belly, only 1/4 of my 4 children have moved back home. I'll take that.

Denver rocks. Go to Good Chem on Colfax to see what freedom is like!

My brother was there in 04. Sooo hot and humid when we went to his graduation in August. Also, very large bugs.

I know I am in the minority, but fuck the south. If I am ever a snowbird, it's going to be in the desert.

Memorial Day... well, given that it is a day set aside for the nation to remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms, I am going to attend a Memorial Day observance. Call me crazy.

It can't be much worse than Ft. Sill where the oldest graduated.

And Fab, I'm with you. I've found nothing good about the south. When I get old, I'm going to Vegas for the winter.

Fort Polk ..... will make you hate the south.

I'm not a fan of the south weather or the coastal area .. really enjoy Maine and will spend a few weeks in SC.

Yall are crazy. The south rules, specifically the lowcountry. Just as humid as Ohio in summer, but much better weather the rest of the year.

My little bro also graduated from fort benning. Not a thing to do in that town.

The food is good in the south but I'd rather just go to Nashville for the winter. It's warmer then Ohio and they only get about 1 dusting of snow a year if that.

I just got to Chicago for a bachelor party but this is one of those weekends I'd prefer to just kick back and drink some beer, golf, and grill.
