The police were brave. However I hold that a better decision would have been to cordon off the area so as to not let innocents get hurt, let the dumbasses fight it out however long it took until there was one left standing, and then charge that idiot with capital murder.

This was natural selection taking place and it was interfered with.

9 dead, 18 injured, and up to 170 arrested. I don't think this was minor enough to block off an area and let more people get killed.

2 of the gangs were friends. The rumor is though the gangs have called members from across the country to Texas so we might see another big fight or two

My initial comment was in jest. That said, what a stupid dumbass thing. Those little boys who have the mentality that fighting via their "gang" is somehow commendable are pathetic.

This is a good thing and should be promoted as to how to demonstrate via Obama and the Black Community.

1. No burning or property damage, business owner bar property still in operation
2. Confined to a give area ( Democrat Baltimore Mayor Suggestion)
3. Thinning the herd
4. Illegal weapons collected, drugs and felons all together
5. No running from police, no disrespect for police…. no cowards in this group
6. Simple identification of the problem individuals …gang vest .. no cowardly mask
7. Lot of money to be made selling public auction bikes, fines and court cost
8. No long term violence .. get it done, get it over .. move on

...I was wondering what these dudes do for a living....outside of fighting, shooting, and killing other MC gang members???

As part of most MC gangs like the Bandidos, HA,etc... they have to be available 24/7 for "club activities" so what kind of job can you have that you can just not show up for work?

Um, they shot at police. As a cop, which would you rather have: some glass bottles thrown at you, and someone smashing your windshield? Or, would you rather have someone shoot a gun at you?

No, because years ago, there was a biker rally in which violence erupted. After the event, a spokesperson for, I believe, an American Motorcycle Club (or something like that) said that "99% of the bikers are law abiding citizens" (again, or something like that) and that's where the "1%" comes from.
