In person I seem like a decent guy? When have we met? I am a decent guy with an opinion that differs from you folks. Again not life and death just high school football. I have stayed away from the games this year so I don't piss any of you off and I can enjoy football outside of Orrville. I can do the same with this site. No worries.Oldest Rider2;1759561 wrote:You are hands down the biggest blow hard I've ever met. The funniest thing is, in person you seem like a decent guy. You speak above and beyond your knowledge of the game and it shows, but you sell it well to the uninitiated and they are none the wiser.
Once you get behind a keyboard, you become the biggest Internet tough guy on here. The worst part of all this. We know that this is an act more than anything, yet you keep pushing forward. You keep trying to create a divide instead of a solution. Talks in circles without saying anything. The ultimate politician in many ways.

We've talked a couple times at a few different events over the last 5 years or so. I have nothing against a differing opinion, if there is some meat behind the opinion. Your opinion however, never comes with any credibility or logical talking points. All you do is say that the record says it all. There is much more to this situation besides the record and you never acknowledge that.Red Rider Nation;1759572 wrote:In person I seem like a decent guy? When have we met? For your record I have never ONE time said the record says it all. You need to go back and look at my posts. It's never been about the record with me.

Some research.....
Orrville-Wooster games, 1940 through 2014..total score:
Wooster 1235
Orrville 1232
Wins since 1940:
Wooster 34
Orrville 35
Ties 5
That's as even as you can get. Yes it's been streaky, and we're on the bad side of the streak....but since World War 2, it's been remarkably even.

The Wooster dummy got swiped tonight by some Wooster kids before the parade tonight.
We had a backup dummy ready to go so it still felt the fiery flames at the bonfire....but someone stealing the dummy never used to be a problem when it was....
Nah.....Not gonna go there.
Go Riders!!

Ha Ha. Yep never could have happened before. However, funny that they swiped it and we still had a back up dumb General!RedRider1;1759786 wrote:The Wooster dummy got swiped tonight by some Wooster kids before the parade tonight.

Orrville is a huge underdog and can try and play spoiler tonight. Would love to see Orrville go out with a boom and knock of Wooster. I am pretty sure it will be a crowded game tonight on both sides...at least until the Wooster band plays and half time and all the Wooster people leave like normal.CCRolly;1759828 wrote:Wonder who gets burned more....the backup Wooster dummy, or the Riders tonight? Go Riders! Give them everything you have. Mike Tyson said everyone has a plan till they get punched in the mouth! Deliver the punches tonight!

Fair assessment. However, Wooster fans have had the game in the bag by halftime each of the last 3 years. :RpS_flapper:rrfan;1759838 wrote:I am pretty sure it will be a crowded game tonight on both sides...at least until the Wooster band plays and half time and all the Wooster people leave like normal.

Orrville kids battled for the first half but just ran out of gas in the 2nd. My hats off to the kids who put their heart and soul into it each week for the Riders. Good luck in the PAC!

Too bad the Orrville dummy didn't get swiped. He was last seen with a sheet of made up names. The backup dummy was in the top row of the stands around the 25 yard line.RedRider1;1759786 wrote:The Wooster dummy got swiped tonight by some Wooster kids before the parade tonight.

Haven't been keeping up with this lately . Just wanted to say I thought the induction ceremony and dinner was very well done . The video, while the quality wasn't the greatest . After watching it you couldn't help but be pumped and know what a great team that was . Great job to everyone who was responsible for that night .RedRider1;1759424 wrote:Both the 95 & 98 teams had talent and depth at every position.
I'm not sure anyone would point to Mac as a guy who routinely outcoached anyone. He was a Mo disciple. Beat em with talent & muscle..that's mainly what we did in the 80's & 90's....but that's football.
He had some excellent assistants too...but all of those guys would point to the kids making them look good.
At the recent HOF induction the 98 team was honored, they played the highlight tape and you forget just how good those teams were. To have Brent Miller (Mount Union) and Brent Steiner (YSU) on the same line blocking for Dru was incredible. But that team had lots of talented role players...guys who would be superstars on teams now. Those guys are what make a good team great.
