Interesting to note-
In Kluber's last start, he threw two wild pitches in the same inning. That prompted Underwood to comment about how crazy that was, considering he only threw 3 wild pitches all year last season.
Looking at the box score today, Kluber added 2 more wild pitches so in his last two starts, he has topped his wild pitch total from a season ago. Not sure what that means exactly or if it really matters, though.

Well, I didnt see the 1st today, but the second isnt a wild pitch with Gomes. Hell, it couldve been a PB as it was...but Gomes definitely makes the stop imo

This team hasn't hit for years now, it is just finally getting to be so bad that even Shaponetti can't spin their way out of it.
Kluber is probably wishing he hadn't signed that deal about now. Gave the team a hometown discount that is going into the Dolan's pockets instead of help on the field to get him wins when he pitches well.
Shameful is about all that can be said about this team right now.

Watching Bruce's post game show and is he hot. Rattling off the putrid batting averages. People cry about Dolan not spending any money but the truth is, he has signed 3 players for mega deals over the past 3 seasons. Where would this team ever be without the wall bangers of Swisher, Bourn and Babe Moss? Murphy is definitely earning his 6 million too or whatever he makes.
Tired of hearing about how Moss had all these injuries last year. Fuck that. He blows, period. Rather have Mark Reynolds in right field than him. And Lonnie is shameful...at both ends.

I'm betting we all would have felt a little different about the getaway day shutout had we held on Tuesday and won the series 2-1.
Let's not forget, Tuesday was a well played game. We got great pitching (save Allen), excellent defense (save the 9th inning) and a couple timely hits which should have been enough to win.
4 games in Detroit now after an off day. The good news is the Tigers have cooled off a bit...losing two straight. We need to win a couple of games up there just to get some good feelings going.

A 3 game sweep by the Tigers would end the tribe season.

That's a bit dramatic. That would put them 8 games behind the Tigers with over 5 months left.Footwedge;1723829 wrote:A 3 game sweep by the Tigers would end the tribe season.
I'll start the thread.
