I have no use for a keyboard without a number pad. That does look pretty nice though

I used to be the same way, but ended up getting used to one without the number pad out of convenience. Now I like the compact design.

For recreational use, I could manage. But for my job there is no way I could get by without one.

If you're doing a lot of math or accounting, I can see not being able to function without the number pad. I'm using numbers sporadically enough that I can save the desk space and eliminate the numpad.

We also recently bought a new thermostat. I went with the ecobee3 lite for the Alexa integration and the fact it was almost $100 cheaper than a Nest thermostat.

I can post my home setup later, this is my work setup. I will eventually have a new keyboard. If I like the one I just bought I'll be getting another one for work.
