Should be...in S-curve order...

Kentucky/Iowa State - Midwest
Duke/Gonzaga - South
Villanova/Virginia - East
Wisconsin/Arizona - West

I am an idiot thinking Virginia was gonna be #1 over Duke. For some dumbass reason, I thought Virginia beat Duke in their only meeting. Been wrong for damn near 2 months on that lol.

I go:
1. Kentucky
2. Duke
3. Wisconsin
4. Villanova

My top seeds are Kentucky, Wisconsin, Villanova and Arizona. But most analysts have either Duke or Virginia in Arizona's stead. In that scenario, then Duke deserves the nod with the head-to-head victory over the Cavaliers. There's no argument there at all.

Still, I believe Arizona absolutely deserves a spot on that top line. It is just further proof that the West Coast is often completely overlooked. I think that disrespect will ultimately play to Sean Miller's favor in the tournament as a major motivational factor for his team.

Really, the separation between 1/2 and the rest is much bigger this year. After 9 and 10, it's a huge drop off in-terms of resume, which is why there is a big debate over the last #2 between KU, ISU and ND. So, someone, actually 2 or 3 teams, will be left off the #1 line. With that said, why does Arizona with 3 losses deserve a nod when the Pac 12 was firmly the 6th best league? Shouldn't the winner of the Big Ten, Big East, with less or equal losses, get the nod over Zona? The ONLY argument Zona has is over Duke and UVA based on not winning their league. That's it.

Interesting matchups at the bottom of the bracket, but a cakewalk for Kentucky IMO.

Why would the Midwest have ND as the top seed for the site playing in Pittsburgh? Seems really odd.

Not that they might not in any region.. to be fair.

That region does have some potential fun match ups though.

I think Duke gets either Albany or a rematch from 2008 with Belmont. Either of those teams would look like the 1950 Minneapolis Lakers against Duke.

A second round matchup with Virginia Commonwealth or Xavier sounds about right.

They are the best team....I think ND is a strong 3 and KU a weak 2....Maryland a strong 4. Hot ND or overlooked KU could be dangerous.
