Geno going for number 10. Just dumb.

In my big bracket done by our local paper with about 800 entries I went Iowa St over Wisconsin. Figured 500+ would take Kentucky.

Hampton/Manhattan are underway in Dayton. Hampton off to a pretty good start.

Yeah it will be interesting if BYU can respond. It's been a great game though.

Won 31 games in a row by an average of 43 ppg. Insane. Whoever wants to say well its women's basketball, his team is full of women too.

That was a hell of a game to start the tournament.

If anyone is interested, this pool is a $5 buy in and last year's winner won $2,500. Top 10 gets money.

Shame looks like North Florida is probably going to lose. That will make me 0-3 in games so far.

Crowd is just so unfair for Boise.

This is will definitely be the only time this will happen.

I don't think either of these teams belong in the play-in.

How else do you do it though? Dayton was the last team in. Do they start using a different site for the play-in (one that's not a home court for anyone), or do they fuck someone else into the play-in and just put Dayton through to the round of 64 simply to avoid the conflict of interest?

They won't put Dayton in the play in game again. They will finagle the bracket to make it happen.

It's just an ugly situation either way. Depending on if you leave Dayton in or pull them out, either Dayton gets fucked out of the tourney completely, or a deserving team gets fucked into a play in game in the place of Dayton

It seems moving it to a non-NCAA member arena would help, but I'm sure it jacks up the rent and other logistical shit that's not an issue at a place like Dayton.

Probably should've been Oklahoma State, Texas, UCLA and Indiana in the play-in. Maybe Ole Miss or Boise State.

I'm fine with it being at UD Arena, but it's the same as games being at Yum Center or Nationwide. Louisville and Ohio State are simply ineligible. Make UD ineligible to play there, so that either helps them and they don't go to the play-in, or it hurts them and they miss the tournament.

I don't think they will change the venue. I just think they will make adjustments in seeding and bracketing.

This is also in direct violation of their own rule. No team is allowed to play in its home floor.
