Gottlieb is a douche, but I agree that it called a foul everywhere.

I hate Gottlieb, but in his defense, they call that a shit ton during the regular season. The defender got off his feet and wasn't vertical.

Marks screwed himself out of a call. Pulled his arms back away from contact instead of going through the defender.

He was in no way straight up. Moving towards the defender with arm at an angle.

No way he was straight up. He jumped forward. Like Mulva said, Marks should've gone right at the guy's chest and gotten "hammered." He tried to go around him and through him and it didn't look like the contact it could've been.

Agree on the no call. Defenders feet were on the ground when the contact was made. When you do see this called, the defender is in the air.

0 contact until he landed, and he was straight up at that point. Marks waited too long, then jumped into his body and corkscrewed his arms around the contact entirely.

You'd think the selection committee would realize how controversial having UD play a home game would be and would do SOMETHING to avoid it.

Only other way would have been to seed them in the tournament without the play in game.


One thing that drives me nuts..today teh SECOND ROUND starts. Just so stupid. Just call it the first round along with the 4 other teams who advanced. So what....4 teams play two first round games, big deal.

Yeah which is the right thing to do. They have finally realized how dumb it was to call this the 2nd round. I always loved it when an announcer or analyst called it the first round.

Hoping my bracket isn't ruined by 2:30.....I have ISU winning it all in my big money bracket. No other game today will hardly affect anything.

You will be fine. ISU could shoot terribly and they should still win. Like wildcats said UAB is awful.
