Welcome. Make sure you're subscribed to this thread and are at least able to communicate with your buddy. The draft is going to basically be as many picks as we can get done before noon on Thursday.

For those who used my spreadsheet last year, I have made some corrections (and am using actual excel since it has so many more formula options than Google Docs). So, it (should) be much better this year, however we wont have the ability to access it locally via google share.

But, if you still want a copy, let me know and I can email it to you so you can fill out the points as we go.

I should have it done (minus all the players who will be drafted till the last minute) by the end of tonight.

Trying to keep the draft thread uncluttered. Last year we did a 2 hour limit between picks, but we had to be a little flexible because we didn't have it in place up front. I would go with that again. I also think guys who miss their time should get skipped, rather than randomly assigning them a player. They can jump in with their pick whenever they get around to checking in.

I will agree with the skipping.

I will also add that I have like 4 guys phone #s. I know I will be working normal hours mon/tues and then flying then working all day Wednesday, but can take a few minutes to make a pick. I just need a text letting me know I am up...so, passing out a phone number to someone on here isnt a terrible idea.

I have Mirgs, Goon, Turtles and sportswiz.

Yep. If you can't take 90 seconds to check-in every 2-3 hours, either give your # out or send someone a list of 15-20 names. 20 guys should probably cover you for at least 8 hours. And if you can't check once in 8 hours then you probably shouldn't be playing.

I don't know what to do about the overnight grace period due to work schedules and different time zones, though.

sportchampps sent me his number so I'm going to text him when either he or his friend is up.

Also if we could try to keep the draft thread just about picks/who's up/ or any other draft related questions hopefully it will help with picks moving faster. I'm going to try and keep the thread up to date on picks but if a mod wants to help out too that would be great.

Wiz with the best pick so far. Stefan Moody with 26 and a win (and a shot at another).

Turtles with the first dud...Collinsworth with 8 and an L.

Schilling with 33 from Haws. An L, but possible high scoring game in the first four??
