I don't really like Cruz, but wanting to abolish the IRS is one thing I align with him on.
We have a 70,000 page tax code, we need a reliable agency to handle its complexities. Now if you want to institute a flat tax that's a whole different ball game

THIS is precisely the problem. Why do we accept a 70k page tax code? That is absolute lunacy. I saw a stat that we spend about 6.1 billion hours preparing our taxes as a nation. Think of what we could accomplish if we put those hours towards something that was actually useful?

Maybe. But certainly not at it's current size and scope.

Yeah Ron Paul is a huge racist. Some fringe intern wrote some bad shit about black people and slapped Paul's name on it 40 years ago and it only resurfaces conveniently when Paul is running for President. He was completely blindsided, never read the newsletter, and apologized for the material referenced despite not being involved he understood that it was his responsibility to monitor the content of newsletter that had his name on it.

Way to be hoodwinked by the media; the intelligence is strong with you.
None of what you said is true. It's been out there for years and confirmed he wrote it.

He's an idiot. His whole claim to fame is that he's a bottle neck. His whole existence in congress is predicated upon holding up progress. Even his own party can't stand him and think he's a waste of time. Why would anyone want a president who's known for fucking off and being a pain in everyones ass.

Eh if this was the other way around the media would be all over it. Not to mention it's just another example of how hypocritical Hillary is. Not to mention she has a track record of lacking serious integrity.

Also, just to clarify I am not using the lack of tip as to why she has no integrity. I was just listing another reason why she is a pile of shit.

He sucks. I want nothing to do with him winning the primary. If he does then I will vote third party (even though my vote doesn't matter in DC).

Just curious though, what has Hillary done in her entire career that makes you think she has integrity and would be a great leader?

Ted Cruz is a mirror image of Obama in '08....like's giving speeches, hasn't accomplished anything and compromise is a completely foreign concept to him.

No Obama was a much better senator IMO. He was on more committees, sponsored 137 bills opposed to Cruz's only 25, and was somebody many wanted to work with despite his young age whereas Cruz seems like a fuckin nut. That's the problem with Cruz, he's just a radical guy that the base of the party loves

Ha I use reliable loosely. It doesn't help though they've suffered massive layoffs in the last few years due to defunding. Btw my early guess is that the next President of the United States will be John Kasich with Rubio as his VP. I think Kasich's very conservative values, combined with his economic smarts, high approval ratings in Ohio and being born in PA will earn him a victory. It's far away but I think he's the best bet to win for Republicans

Exactly. The IRS is not the problem. Its the tax code. If you want to get down to it the tax code is more about "encouraging" our activities than generating revenue to fund the government.

He hasn't done anything. That's the point your missing. All he's accomplished is being the petulant little kid that no one likes. Even his side of the aisle.
As far as his ideas... they're probably great if you're a right wing fanatic. Not even tolerable if you're even moderate.

i really would like to see and be listed as part of the presidential campaign their potential cabinet members.
i dont buy a car with no tires, I don't buy smart phone without a service plan, so why does the American voter buy into just one aspect of running our country durning election?

Does anyone actually believe a flat tax would ever be implemented? There's no way people with money would ever agree to it. They love their deductions.

And should it be implemented? You're going to cut a ton of charity funding in doing so.

It appears he'll be able to raise enough money to hang around and bring the crazy well beyond Super Tuesday.
