A marxist policy agenda doesn't mix with a capitalist economy; its like trying to pound a square peg through a round hole. His repeated efforts to do so led to the great divide with congress. His was/is hell-bent on imposing his philosophical views, all else be damned. So here we are ...........

Can't put all the blame on Obama for that, though. After the 2008 elections, Dems thought they were going to control (if not a supermajority) the House, Senate and WH for decades. As a result, they made no effort to reach across the aisle and deliberately trampled and ignored the Repubs.

Granted, the subsequent blowback and "obstruction" when Repubs regained control is something Obama has tried to exploit to win elections. Now, unlike a Bill Clinton moving to the middle and compromising in his final years with a Repub Congress, Obama has remained obstinate and gone the route of executive order.

I actually don't know which side I am on this one. On one hand Hillary is a **** and it brings the lulz, on the other hand BLM can go fuck themselves.

I actually don't see the major issue in what she said. You can pin point a few words in her statement, but she has a point. Black/white/hispanic, there are some fucked up kids, who do some fucked up things and it's a result of having no real parenting and discipline in their lives. This primary has taking Hillary further and further to the left and it brings the lulz.

Edit: I would love to see the struggle a white female SJW is going thru trying to pick a side on this one.

Hearing truth come out of Hillary's mouth is like personally witnessing a total solar eclipse. I had no problem with it either. But her inability to put this BLM protester in her place was quite telling.

NO....these jobs are EVERYWHERE.

If you'd like more examples, we have a group who places people in the packaging industry. These companies are dying for production managers, etc. Packaging isn't going away any time soon.

These are a few small examples in niche industries. Stories like this are a dime a dozen because there are plenty. There are just too many people who think shit should be handed to them and they are "entitled" a six figure income instead of having to pay their dues and actually WORK for it.

Please, tell me more about companies that aren't hiring?

Because you are a head hunter and have jobs for 2 industries, that discounts the fact the nearly every corporation is a fraction of its size a decade ago. lol ok.

There are PLENTY of jobs out there for SKILLED people....not just the "$8/hr Wal-Mart worker."

Which companies are larger now vs pre 2008? It's hardly just us. The auto industry is a fraction of the size. the steel industry is a fraction of the size. Caterpillar and other heavy trucks are a fraction of the size. So ,please, tell me who is bigger now?

Let's take a hard look at the broad picture. The American work force is not willing to compete globally. Unskilled kabor thinks it's worth $15/ hour and at that price, or higher for semi skilled labor, things are going to be made elsewhere, and jobs are going are going to flow to countries where labor is cheaper or to automation where possible.
Democrats get elected by playing the blame game... And absolving people of the responsibility for decisions that affect their welfare.
Now, before some SJW get on here and spouts some of that Bernie Sanders tripe about greedy Wall Street…let's keep in mind that Wall Street SHOULD be greedy... It's purpose is to make money for people... Not just the rich, but Mom and Pop, pension funds, 401ks, and other large and small investors.
It is no more greedy, than the people who take no responsibility for themselves, make no effort to get an education,or a skill, live off the system,and then demand that if they do work, they should be paid more simply because they are Americans.

You're completely missing the point here. We're talking about why welfare numbers have grown so much. Our workforce has shrunk exponentially since 2008 collapse. That's evident by the size of corporations now vs then.

And apparently you're missing the point because there are plenty of jobs that these people on welfare would be qualified for but it's easier to collect a check. I don't know every welfare recipient but the ones I do know aren't downsized engineers from Ford. They are people who either don't want to work or shouldn't be in the workforce.

As far as the size of corporations, many of them got "fat" and had too many employees and they realized it. Companies are doing more with less now. The days of the union Ford employee pushing a broom all day in a 20X20 space, getting paid $40/hr to do so because he's a union member (in a useless job) are hopefully coming to an end.

The Fortune 500 employs, I think, only about 20% of the workforce. The other 80% of the jobs from thousands of companies continues to be the driving force in the economy.

But until recently, energy and healthcare (at least pre-Obamacare), and probably tech, have been growing and doing very well. You want to focus on manufacturing and industrial jobs because historically they have been good paying jobs for unskilled workers. Reality is what isn't outsourced to cheaper labor is going to be automated with robots.

We we lost what, 11 million jobs? We gained 7 million or so? Looks like we're still down 4 million jobs from pre-recession. The overwhelming majority of the jobs are minimum wage service industry. Spending is down 70%. It literally blows my mind you'd question that. That's pretty much ccrunner territory. I already pointed of a few examples of companies who employment is down.
