Don't accept = going to hell
Do accept = going to heaven
Seems like all gain and no loss to me.
Person A is a poor man living in small village in Africa who gives all his money to other people and lives the most basic of lives. He helps his friends and family toil in the fields, always treats people better than himself, and doesn't lie, cheat, steal or have sex before marriage. He has never heard of God, but lives the best possible life that he can.
Person B is a Catholic priest who molests children(because really, do they do anything else?), but without a doubt believes there is a God.
Who goes to heaven?
Well sadly according to Christianity the Priest gets to go. That is why I contend Christianty is an immoral position. That and many other reasons why it is immoral.
This alleged god (whatever it is) is going to punish people for not believing when it does not come down and show itself to everyone.
A first hand sighting of god is revelation them tell me it is so is hearsay. So because of hearsay this alleged god is going to roast people for all eternity.
Christians will plea, but it is your choice you chose to go to hell god does not want you to go to hell but you choose it so god is still good.
BAH that is one of the most immoral worldviews I have ever heard. It is exactly the same as this.
A young man holds a gun to a girls head and says " love me or I will kill you." She says No! he pulls the trigger and she is dead.
However according to the Christian worldview that is not immoral in fact he is godlike. Why?
Because she CHOOSE to die the young man did not want to kill her and he gave her a choice in the matter.
If you claim that god does not have to abide by that rule that is called special pleading and is logical fallacy and does not stand up to sound reasoning.
Christianity is an immoral worldview. A god who roasts people in hell for all eternity.
Remember though god loves you unconditionally/ rollseyes.
I think you have it wrong and a little misguided.
For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness, and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus. (Romans 2:14-16)
It is also mentioned by Paul that those who follow the law will be judged by the law and that God judges all people righteously. I believe it also says those that never heard of the law will be judged by the law that God has placed in their hearts.
So I take this as if you follow the spirit/laws of Jesus Christ, you can enter into heaven without knowing his name. I think we are judged on what we know and how we act on it. So if you know about Jesus and fail to accept his as your savior, then you will go to Hell.
Also for this whole thing to work, God does give us all the law in our heart and our conscience and it is that reason if we disobey that we will be punished.
It is just like having children or employees at your job, if you tell them the law, make sure they understand the law, follow up with them and they still break the law, they deserved to be punished.
