What is the rule? Do you judge it like the QB being across the LOS by the feet, or like offsides on a play from scrimmage where it is any part of the body? Which would be even worse. If that were the case then USC would have had a chance at 8-4 to make the playoffs. In 2012 Georgia Tech at 6-6 only lost to FSU by 6, would they have pulled off the upset they would have made it at 7-6.
