Can't believe how bad Marshall's QB is. Not sure either team is top 50 Marshall/OU

So does having Arkansas on their schedule potentially keep the sec out of the playoff? :RpS_lol: that has to ding their strength of schedule

Already eliminated. Terrible offense.

Thought that was a terrible spot for Oregon just now.

Sparty really let them back into it. No way Oregon should have the ball with a chance to win. Wow.

Yes, absolutely. Was a 1/3 of a yard shy of where he really landed. Surprised replay was so quick.

Oregon QB is terrible. Cost them the game on those last 3 plays.

Probably a reason he was in FCS.

Austin Ward ✔ @AWardESPN
An unnamed Ohio State player when I showed him the Arkansas score started mockingly pumping his fists and chanting: "S-E-C! S-E-C!"

Spurrier needs to go like 5 yrs ago. Kentucky took them down.

Gamecocks clearly on the way down. Kentucky has more young talent and play-makers now. It continually amazes me that Spurrier can't find a QB. Seems like he scares away big time prospects with how much he micromanages them.

At least the good guys won to keep up with the rest of the better teams in the MAC.

South Carolina has been in a weird situation for a long time. They've gotten two coaches who had been considered elite (Lou Holtz and Spurrier), but never took the step from good to elite and really have spent most of that time as just being a decent program, but a decent program with a big-name coach. It's kind of gotten to the point that whenever the job opens up again, I'll be expecting them to hire the next guy based on: (1) great success in the past, (2) getting up in age, (3) things going a bit downhill (ie: from national championship contender to 9-3 status) so a change of scenery might be in the cards.

The B1G is such garbage this season. OSU and MSU are clear favorites, Wisconsin is an obvious notch below them, followed by Michigan, Nebraska, Northwestern, Iowa, Illinois and Minnesota being bowl teams followed by garbage on the bottom. I'm pretty confident only the top 3 teams in the conference will be ranked

you forgot to add that the big named coaches are old as shit and these young players dont want to play for their grandpa.

Auburn goes from 6 to 18 in the AP Poll. I'm completely shocked they didn't move into the top 5.

Seriously though, I'm pretty surprised they dropped them that far.

When is your time frame? Northwestern is currently ranked and Minnesota will be ranked at the end of the regular season.

The thing that I hate is...if you're going to rank a team 6th, drop them to 18th...why not even just not make a fucking poll until week 3?

It's harder to craft the SEC myth if you don't release a pre-season poll.

Notre Dame also lost their starting TE for the season on Saturday.

So the Irish have now lost their starting nose guard, starting RB, starting QB, and starting TE. We're two games in. Fuck me.

Convinced that ND is just cursed. Two years in a row now that injuries will completely derail a promising season.

Ohio State lost their heisman favorite qb before the season and heisman contending qb in the last game of the regular season and won the national championship. Quit with the excuses.

LOL. OK bro.

If you want to get technical, ND is now to their 3rd string QB. Golson and Zaire would have been 1 and 2. So they are on QB 3 from the Spring depth chart.

And they are also on their 3rd string RB. The #2 back was ruled academically ineligible and transferred, and then the injury to Folston.

So go ahead and try to compare OSU's injuries last year to ND this year. It isn't even close. It's still early, and ND could end up still being alright. But let's not try to act like OSU would have won it all facing the same injuries/transfers last year.
