I prefer Rose as well. Thinking committee might keep Iowa ahead of us in rankings though

you expand it to the conference champs only. This eliminates this. Maybe put in a 3 loss rule where if they have 3 losses and win their conference they get to pick someone else

Peach Bowl - 1. Alabama vs 4. Michigan State
Fiesta Bowl - 2. Clemson vs 3. Oklahoma

Rose Bowl - Ohio State vs Stanford
Sugar Bowl - Ole Miss vs TCU
Orange Bowl - Florida State vs Iowa
Cotton Bowl - Notre Dame vs Houston

North Carolina and Florida being the biggest losers, dropping all the way out of the New Year's Six.

Looks like a blown call. One thing to remember is that the line is a plane (no foot down required) for offsides. I.E. any body part, including hand breaking that plane would be offsides on a kick. Onside kicks suck to officiate.

I have a hard time believing MSU is a top 4 team, but they won the games. Also Classy is a fucking moron. 8 playoff teams would create much more excitement for the fans and much more $$$$ for the schools/networks/etc. It's a win/win for everyone. The argument classy used is the same dumb ass argument people used against getting rid of the BCS in favor of a playoff. We are only 2 years into having a playoff and everyone loves it.

i believe he is referring to the fact that the Peach and Fiesta bowls are not the semis this year...so yes, the semifinal (playoff bowls) are pre established (Cotton and Orange this year)

If Iowa goes to the rose bowl ND vs ohio st in the fiesta is a strong possibility. Would be pretty awesome

Bama is so bad. They have a good player in Henry, who's probably the 2nd best RB in the country but they aren't a strong team.

Clemson is worse though. I think Clemson gets embarrassed ala FSU against Oregon last year.
