If msu and osu are two of the top 4 teams, then yes they should both get in.sherm03;1752285 wrote:Funny you mention that, because I'm interested to see what happens this year.
If OSU and MSU are #1 and #2, and MSU wins a tight game against OSU on 11/21 and goes on to win the B1G, I'll be interested to see how B1G fans (and a bunch of people on here) react. Will everyone be saying that OSU should be allowed to get in because they were the best all year long and their only loss came in a close one to the #1 team? Or will everyone stick to the drum they were beating for awhile and say OSU is out because if you can't be the best in your own conference you don't deserve a shot in the playoffs? Lots of stuff has to fall right for that to happen, but I'm speaking on a hypothetical here.
And before you reply, Sleeper, I know...OSU will beat MSU by 50 so this isn't even a discussion. But just throwing it out there as one of those what-if scenarios we all like to play when it comes to college football.
It's really that simple.
Problem with lsu and bama that year, was that first game they both looked horrible. It was such a boring game, the final score was fucking nine to six. That's why no one wanted it , not just because anti-SEC.
