36 seconds.....mini pooch punt not letting it go anywhere near end zone....land it between 15-20 and not to player....let ball roll until blown dead.

Ball on about 15 with about 26 seconds left

...and then Bama gets it back. Why Ole Miss wouldn't punt it there is beyond me.

You could've snapped it and I could've punted and Ole Miss would've been in more secure shape

It's amazing that major programs don't have a grad assistant on the sidelines with clock knowledge to advise the coach.

Right now watching those teams play they would spank OSU. But Urbie I think can turn this around with the athletes on that team. The blame may start shifting to the new OC.

Since Michigan State and Ole Miss have the two best wins of the year, they both deserve to be top 4, Michigan State should get a lot more first place votes this week since Ohio State can't figure out the offense.

It just blows me away that coaches go to every measure to gain every ounce of an advantage and have an insane amount of intelligent people to assist them but almost all of them give away a lot of time every chance they get when the opposition is in dire shape.

NFL coaches may be worse than college....and from what I've seen college may be worse than high school.

How'd the vaunted SEC West do in bowl games last year?

The reality is the B1G is the same as the other conferences, including the SEC. There are a couple of good teams and a lot of mediocre teams. The only difference between the B1G and the SEC is the SEC teams get 90% of the conference ranked before the season even starts.

C'mon Sleeper even your blind allegiance to everything OSU can't be so overwhelming that you can't see the SEC is significantly better top to bottom than the B1G. If you truly cant...well then your CFB analysis holds zero credibility. I will enjoy this #1 - #2 punch as long as it lasts but we know that can't last. Wisky, NW & Minny can play anybody, scUM & Pedi State can still compete based on legacy, the new kids Nebraska, Maryland & Rutgers are very suspect and The 3 Is and a P..Iowa, ILL , IN & Purdy are absolutely horrible. I know I know Iowa is 3-0...so what? They suck.

THe SEC was given a decade of preference under the BCS system. Now they are exposed by the new system. It is common knowledge that their out of conference schedule is a legit joke. THey play nobody and they dont travel at all.

After last year, they shouldnt be in the conversation about conferences.

I thought we were talking about this year....stop living in past seasons; new teams, new year

If you start at the 3rd/4th best teams in each conference (Alabama and Georgia vs. NW and Wisky) and work your way down, SEC is going to be the vegas favorite in most of those match ups. Vegas doesn't care about rankings by the way. You can start with the the Bama Wisky game that already took place. Doesn't take anything away from OSU and MSU. Both are easily top 5 teams and IMO are better than Ole Miss and LSU (although LSU scares me). The rest of the Big 10 is weak, to think otherwise is foolish. The fact that OSU can essentially sleep walk through Saturdays until 11-21 is evidence of that.

Last year proved how much the SEC is overhyped. That's why living in the past is not relevant here. The SEC is perpetual overrated and you can cite last season.

If anything, the SEC trumpets its championships as to why they are #1 but in reality they are not.

It just means their best team is the nations best team. I'm not using that argument though. Just matching up teams top to bottom, SEC would be favored on the majority of those.

Never understood this argument. Who gives a fuck if our 8th best team can beat another conference's 8th best team?

The big ten has the top 2 teams in the entire country, that's what matters.

Disagree. I think the B1G would win about half on average every year against the SEC. As bad as the perceived B1G schools, they are no worse than the bottom feeders of the SEC. The East has been garbage ever since FLorida fell off the map and the West has the 4 at the top that have done well in the past few years.
