Romo gets more national TV games than those two put together during the course of any season, so his fuck-ups get magnified. Romo also had a couple of those "WHAT THE FUCK!!??!?"-style blunders early in his career, so the "Romo = clutch fuck-up" reputation got created and magnified. Add in that Jerry Jones Dallas tends to go for a circus atmosphere at most times and they get magnified even more, especially when you get things like Terrell Owens bitching to the media that Romo's gf (Jessica Simpson at the time, I think?) needs to stay home because she's creating a distraction.Azubuike24;1753870 wrote:Throw Matt Ryan in there.
Romo, Ryan and Rivers are amazing regular season QB's. They all rank top 8 in active leaders for almost every category. They all stink in the playoffs. The criticism should be equal.
All 3 probably would get treated equal if they were on equal footing, but when one is at Dallas, he's not on "equal footing" with the others.
