Why not? You can invite 90 to camp. If he earns it, he earns it. Teams invite players all the time who are just bodies to fill a place. I knew a lineman who got invited to a camp in his 2nd year out of college and was basically told he's got no chance to make the team, but he's the right height and they needed someone weighing what he weighed. He got cut about 3 weeks in.

Yeah, even Tebow got brought in by somebody. There's hope for Walker. ;)

Not really. RB's who take big hits all the time don't make it through a season regardless of age. The "high impact" collisions don't work for any human. That's why some people are good at avoiding it.

Yes, really. If you're running the ball chances are you are getting hit at a high impact nearly every play. I don't care how good you are, you're gonna get hit hard.

In mma the only high impact action you typically will see results in a knock out. That doesn't happen every fight let alone every punch/kick/takedown.

Also take into account that the guys hitting Walker in the octagon aren't 270+ lbs running sub 5.0 forties. He'll get smacked around in a ring but nothing like an NFL field.

I can't believe this convo is still going on.

He was a running back and he's fucking 53!!!!!!!

Again, he'd be brought back to reality in one series. I don't care what amateur MMA shit he's into.

I don't think Gronk is a D-bag at all...the guy is fucking hilarious and lives the ultimate life.

I saw him this weekend in a bar in Chicago and I wanted to be what he was on.

Agree to disagree. Every time I see Gronk, the first thing I think is "Jersey Shore."

I drank with Gronk when he was still playing for Arizona. One of his best buddies (a friend of mine) went to Miami so he came to visit during the spring. He actually came the following year after his rookie season, but I had graduated by then. Anyway, he is pretty much exactly the way you see him on TV. A typical football meathead, but not even close to the jersey shore type.

Correction, he came back 2 years later after his first visit as a college player.

Yeah, if there's one thing Boston-related I don't dislike, it's Gronk. The ultimate party dude, who just happens to also be an elite athlete. If there is one pro athlete I wish I could be, it's that dude.

Your life revolves around "getting mass" and "lifting for days" I figured gronk would be your role model

ESPN is trying their best to act like this Brady appeal is serious business. The keep mentioning Brady is testifying under oath, but they don't mention there is no actual penalty for him lying "under oath" to the NFL.

Sorry....at my age it's about "keeping mass" and "getting in and out of the gym as fast as possible." Hope that helps.

I don't dislike Gronk. He looks like he's probably a fun guy but his antics come across as Jersey Shore douchie to me.

Bengals signed local kid from west central ohio, ball state and last year the ravens practice squad Keith Wenning.
Hope he can stick around!
