For Super Bowl my GF and I try to bet on things within the game, i.e.: coin toss, first team to score, team leading at halftime etc. We've even included if the halftime act will play certain songs. It keeps things interesting especially if the game is a dud.

I'm compiling the list of things to bet on. Any ideas of things to include or things you bet on?

I do this as well with the family, and the winner of each one gets a scratch off ticket.
+leading after each qtr.
+first place pass/run
+first score a td, fg and added safety a few years ago after that is how it started.
+first commerical beer, doritos or etrade
+lights go out during game.
+someone carried off on stretcher.

All I know is I got a bet in on the over/under at 48 ......... took the over. Hope we have a decent amount of scoring.

Taht computer program that runs 50K simulations has SEA winning like 58% of the time and the avg score 24-20. Program says that Sea has the better chance to dominate, and I have to agree.

Some time in the pregame they had puppies going to a dog dish and whichever team dish had the most would be the predictor of the game. Well, the host called it for SEattle but then someone came in and said he thought he called it too early for Seattle and that NE may have had more right before they cut away. Right then I told the family...NE wins it at the end!!!


Did a tote board with alot of diff things........20 items that are guaranteed to have a winner and about 12 that could happen. Some of the odd ones that were winners was "player getting ejected" and cart/stretcher/ambulance takes off a player. Even though it wasnt on the field I still paid that one out when the SEA guy was taken by a cart to the locker room

Looks like I have to buy first round when the GF and I go on our next vacation. That was the payout on our bet… she beat me by one guess.

If we ever find out if Al Michaels mentioned during the game what the line on the game was, then we tie (I predicted he would but missed it if he said it).

Great game! Worst. Play Call. EVER. at the end by Seahawks!
