What's best for the program isn't losing a bowl game on purpose. One game isn't going to magically make next year's players better; the bowl win is much more useful, especially for recruiting.

Winning bowl games means nothing. Maybe we'll play ND and win with our back ups.

Stanford- 2 losses

It's not like Ohio State lost to Rutgers. If Clemson loses, bucks are a lock.

I wouldn't say a lock. If Clemson loses, they may still end up ahead of OSU. It will be a debate. But definitely not a lock.

Most of the Jersey chasers at OSU go after the skill position players and not the linemen unless they are a marketed star like a Bosa. Washington is a good player and will no doubt play in the NFL, but I don't think getting girls is that easy for him.
